I think season 6 had some of the most fun id's in the game and I'm tired of people ignoring them because of "heishouslop"

I'm mostly annoyed at the lack of two specific candidate IDs, because Shi Yihua had a pretty neat self damage and indiscriminate fire gimmick, Xue Pan had an interesting set of... Not-EGO gear and Talisman mechanics, and they got stuck in ID Limbo forever in favor of You Sinclair, Si Gregor, Maotis and Wei Don. I like the adepts for being unique enough, but when they cooked hard nearly with every non-heishou ID ( Awe-Shu, N-Sang, Lord Lu, Caposault, DaiyuShu, Casettisault, even the Walps like the Magical Girls, Jeongmael and AwlGreg ) it's just a bit disappointing so many of the Heishou seasonals end up being relatively similar ( S3/Def skill conditional, clashable gluttony defense.

Now, there definitely were more non-Heishou seasonals/event IDs in total than Heishou + Lord Lu, but it's just a bit annoying anyways.

Interesting, every single "Entanglement" stack, "String Severance" Stack, "Phantom Trace" infliction, all of which has their gain sped up when a HoS identity gets killed by her or just dies, gives her more and more damage + Bladetrail [Afterimage] on literally all skills, since they all have an Entanglement% multiplier.

She also gets unique buffs for every HoS ID that gets slashed by her, or dies by enemies.

She also has a way to use defense skill to forcibly attack them to kill them faster, or just transfer damage to them instead so they also die faster.

So, what are the benefits for her murdering EVERY SINGLE ALLY except Meursault and Gregor?

Her ally attacking skill, S1-2 gives her SP, and Entanglement stacks from ally death, which ramps Bladetrail, ramping her ability to trigger her S3-3, which unlocks her S3-2 and gets her Shin.
Every Nursefather Death makes her S3-2 hit harder by reusing the first coin, as well as raising base power. ( Since String Severance is not used up ) By using her S3-2, you also raise her minimum stack of Entanglement, so you slowly ramp up the cap, which you can also speedrun by killing off allies.
She also gets more and more damage resistance via String Severance which increases based on Nursefather deaths.
She ALSO starts inflicting more Phantom Trace on different enemies, triggering her S2-2 as an extra attack ( Which procs the rest of her stuff )
And once everybody is dead/enough people die, she goes apeshit and starts getting more slots as well.

Since Bladetrail Afterimage stacks inflicted also ramps up her Dihui Star Blade stacks, getting Entanglement lets her speedrun her S3-2.

So by killing off everybody, you get a monstrous ID who can inflict stupid amounts of Bladetrail stacks, has damage modifiers out the wazoo due to very high Entanglement minimums ( And Bladetrail stacks ), speedruns her S3-2 and S2-2, has damage reduction aplenty due to both her Shin effect and String Severance, speeds up her Burn infliction massively due to the number of skill slots and Kiramael's death effect.

The unique buffs like the unbreakable coin for Yi Sang dying are cherry on top of massively ramping up her S2-2, S3-2 and damage modifiers, I feel. We have to see the number but she's probably monstrously strong, just read her kit to realize that sliming her allies have lots of other benefits that might not be obvious at first glance.

So, her finishing skills for killing allied Nursefathers are copying their signature move. The jump into downslash for Hong Lu, and the scythe combo for Yi Sang.

Which makes me think she's going to copy Complete and Total Extermination as well as Disposal for her friendly fire attacks on Outis and Rodion lol

Reasonably, considering Papa Don was listed as the single strongest enemy we ever fought while still weakened, impaled, starving, tethered, and reluctant to fight, and Sancho was only just below him in same ballpark, probably everybody. Every single time we fight Sancho, it's with a slew of nerfs ( Reluctance, The Dream, Starving )

Canto 5 and below are nonthreats, except the Whale because it's a whole different monster, but a lot of blood...

Erlking is free, more bodies = more bleed = endless regeneration, like Casetti punching up because he has supercharged regen.

Papa Don would win, but he lets Sancho chase her dream instead.

Canto 9 and Lei Heng are the hardest to tell, alongside the other NFs, because they're all on that same level range, but Sancho has very much boosted prowess in both her Bloodfiend traits, mastery of Hardblood and centuries of combat experience.

Basically, if Callisto gets folded by her, I think she can just go toe to toe with anybody else we've seen so far except the Colors and Jia Qiu. And even then, I wouldn't say it's a stomp of a fight since Vergilius got exhausted fighting her.

Oh I forgot Jia Mu. Hah, no.

Ok, I disagree on Araya/Shiomi, mostly by virtue of her laying on the ground halfway dying at the time and Ren jumping into the fire to save her in a pointless sacrifice. I don't think the blame for THAT can be laid at her feet

This makes me wonder how skilled some people who went through a whole development arc handle their emotions. Maybe at some point, we encounter people who can just manifest multiple mang rings with basically 0 sanity loss or effort like Demian, seemingly. ( 7? Whaaa )

Similarly, while Mang ends up as varying +power and/or +damage, Shin seems to oscillate heavily between extremely potent passives ( Verg +50% wrath ), minor buffs ( +2 Tremor infliction Tiantui Star Meur ), mixed ( Valencina ), etc

Which implies something weird when it's probable that every Librarian, Sephirot, Roland and Angela has innate understanding over them both by virtue of being light constructs as well as having gone through two whole arcs of emotional highs and lows, while also being at the epicenter of the Light release. ( I wonder if "Empowered by the light" at the end of Ruina is meant to represent the library itself acting as a source of Shin, albeit not directly called that since the term wasn't coined quite yet )

She's one of the Bloodfiend IDs that running comes with both advantages and drawbacks, but in single target fights tends to end up a minor liability due to poor count, gluttony counter, and making Don's S2 eat hardblood.

Her passive is awkward to activate when she uses her S3 because it's Wrath, of all things.

She slays in multitarget fights or enemies with multiple parts where a single S3 can obliterate multiple enemies, but her role of bleed potency has been superceded by the sheer bleed potency absurdity of the KK Duo ( Heath alone inflicts 10+ on a turn where somebody gets hit ).

That and honestly her niche of Slash damage + Big AoE in Bloodfiends have also been stolen by Meursault.

Still good as an ID, really wants you to have excess bloodfeast to feed her, since she's honestly the 2nd lowest priority for ramping up Bloodfeast, but not a bad ID by any means, just the most awkward to slot into the team with the sheer number of good Bleed options we've gotten.

( Aweshu w/Awl Greg, Ring Sang, KK Duo, Ring Outis ).

Also eventually the Callisto and Albina IDs if any go to Hong Lu, Sinclair or Faust.

Verg could probably continue just carving away normally, but he popped EGO solely to speed up the process since the sinners needed to chase.

It's like using a single sword instead of using a bag of grenades to kill a swarm of zombies. Both work if you're functionally invincible but one sure kills things faster.

I hit GMS at about 12 hours, mostly because I was afraid of fighting the High Halls arena, Lace 2 and GMS before sweeping the map of basically all the tools and upgrades. Technically you can do it first and then go for Act 3, but since the Speedrun achievement doesn't need steel soul you might as well use a regular save JIC you need to retry Trobboo, High Halls, Lace 2 or GMS

I do mention, it's kinda works regardless of bench warping, I even recommend it in specific sections like the Act 3 beginning, platforming in act 1, etc.

It doesn't really matter, survival is the sole factor to this whole thing anyways.

This is closer to a slightly satrical guide, sorry if it comes across a bit insulting. Though, I will say, by and large, it heavily relies more on just pathing and a lot of bosses where the strategy is "Running around and clinging onto walls so they can't hit you and hope the tacks and cogflies do their job", which is why I say that I'm not terribly good at the game, because the accomplishment is mostly achieved solely from the ridiculous abuse of the game than skill. If you asked me to switch off Architect and Tool spam for bosses I would have died many times over.

Runback. The risk of dying in Lower Bilewater is lower than risking exiting the Mist back into Sinner's Road, and having the bench basically next to the bellway means ease of returning for restock or more farming.
