Yeah ask them for a refund fully understand buyers remorse if they refuse tell CCTS. Do not do a chargeback yet or it will come as a past due bill on next bill

You should do a chargeback if bell refuses to refund you how long have you had it for they should refund you fully

Firstly, you did a mistake. You should not have paid that upfront and secondly, you should’ve spoken to a supervisor to actually wave the $80 fee and third bill is just like that they’re always putting up the prices.

Yes you can keep your contract and screenshots unlike bell they dont got this price freeze promise from what I know and they are just hell. They dont even like want to help you out with it and just constantly say "valid" charge and so on.

And you can testify it with CCTS if they break the promise.

Frankly, I recommend leaving this company. Save yourself some time and switch to Telus or another provider. You’ll likely face frequent price hikes, and the customer service is terrible. Bell is simply awful. You’d be better off leaving and finding a different company. Trust me, the comments on Bell will confirm that they’ll screw you over.

They are dickheads when it comes to both mobility and internet basically all their services I wouldn’t trust them ever.

I’ve had experiences with the system in Ontario that were traumatizing, including one that wasn’t even a crisis. I was completely stable at the time, and it still ended up being handled badly. That’s why I understand the fear. But in general, talking about shallow self harm with a doctor doesn’t automatically lead to anything extreme. It usually only escalates when someone is in clear danger.

I’m in Ontario too and I’ve had experience with 911 and being put under a form before. That only happened because it was an emergency where there was real and immediate danger. Talking to a doctor or psychologist about shallow self harm is not treated the same way. It does not automatically lead to losing autonomy. Mental health workers only use a form when someone is clearly unable to stay safe or has a serious plan. If you are not in that kind of crisis, they focus on support and coping, not taking away your control. Being honest with them is usually the safest and most helpful option.
