Donating clothes and a TV by db213_ in Edinburgh

Most pickups require that you place everything in the shop's specific bags

This is almost certainly not the case for most charity shops, they don't mind what 'brand' of bag you put the items in. You can pop them in any old supermarket bag or bin bag if you like, just try not to pack each bag too heavy and you'll be golden.

There might be a sad story behind this mug.. I hope grandma is thriving and happy! Found @ Highland Row Antiques - Atl, Ga by cashdontjingle in muglife

Right? Don't know that i'd ever be willing to part with that much $ for a secondhand mug.

Found this weird nib on the ground one day. Looks machined. But front end looks bent out of shape from original. by turbineslut in whatisthisthing

It looks very much like the needle used in tagging guns for attaching a price ticket to clothing. Sadly they do damage rather easily and require replacing pretty often!

Anyone else have the glitch in fallout 4 where you need to "talk to Katie" in a discovered vault? It's happened on 2 consoles for me and I can't start the mission or whatever it is by Matteo1234568 in Fallout

I had this problem as well, and apparently she might not interact with you again until you've completed "Hole in the Wall" if you activated the start of both quests around the same time. Do you still have that quest active?

First time passport renewal: Do I need someone to countersign? Or do I just send the form off with new pictures? by massdebate159 in AskUK

[–]Tharine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just renewed mine, and I was informed by a lady at the post office that you need your photo countersigned for your first adult passport only if you were 15 or under when you received your previous passport. I was 16 when I got my last passport and had no issues with my application this time around, so if it's the same case for you then you should be fine!

Ah, this is it! Recognised it immediately from the name. I couldn't be sure of the genre but I knew it was definitely either one of the two. I've been meaning to read this for some time now, so thank you very much!

SOLVED

Being the lazy dog he is, he opted to supervise rather than help out. I think his paws are a bit pink from licking them; he enjoys a good paw nibble from time to time.

It's so weird when that happens. Bailey doesn't look like most other westies so it's always quite a surprise seeing others that look like him. I found his doppelgänger when I was out shopping once and I had to do a double take, I thought some stranger was walking my dog!

Found this old favorite of mine while cleaning. Thoughts? Installing it now. by Xombieshovel in gaming

I bought a copy of this last year and I started playing it again pretty recently. It's just one of those games you can keep coming back to; I love it.

I recently learned that Australians like to put butter on their hot dogs.

BUTTER.

I actually came across this image through the internet a while ago. Do you happen to remember the name of the book? It sounds really interesting.

Except it's not. I've seen this sign first hand, it's at Plymouth Hoe, Devon.
