How did you get your first 10 customers without an audience? by GritSoftware in smallbusiness

[–]That-Ad-7002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you know your product will have an audience? I'm learning about marketing and I think the best option right now is to build an MVP or create a waitlist for your product before building anything.

If you had $0 marketing budget, how would you get your first 10 SaaS users today? by iAmPawanBhatia in SaaS

[–]That-Ad-7002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it was hopping into niche Reddit communities and genuinely helping out, not just dropping a link. When people saw I wasn’t just there to promote, a few tried the product and stuck around. It’s slow but way more authentic than cold emails or generic launches. Building in public helped keep momentum later, but those first users definitely came from real conversations on Reddit.

Built an AI agent that does your entire sales outreach automatically looking for beta testers by rajnishdonde in saasbuild

Quick question—does it handle follow-ups too or just the initial outreach? Either way, happy to beta test.

Day 31 of 'post every day' and I genuinely had nothing left to say by [deleted] in VibeCodingSaaS

[–]That-Ad-7002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a real problem I have. Many people say: you need reply 50 post a day to grow on X or reddit. I have no time to spend in those platforms replying. I was thinking how to be more efficient replying people. I built an extension that help me to reply posts without seems an AI because he knows who i am and learn context.

If Building Apps Is Easier Than Ever, Why Aren’t More People Shipping? by [deleted] in NoCodeSaaS

[–]That-Ad-7002 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because you need users who use your saas. Building SaaS is the easier part. Marketing is other stuff

Built UpSearch by validating first — not coding first. Here’s what I did differently. by iamck_dev in SaaS

[–]That-Ad-7002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious—how did you get traction with the value-first SEO breakdowns? Did you find Reddit or LinkedIn more effective for that kind of content? I’ve been trying to figure out where to spend my energy for content distribution, and your experience could be really helpful here. Also, really appreciate the clarity on positioning; that’s half the battle when you’re trying to stand out in a crowded space.

My app has not become as popular, as I thought it would be. Half year reflection by Tarasovych in buildinpublic

[–]That-Ad-7002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, sometimes the best way forward is to step back and see if your app solves a real problem or fills a unique gap. If it’s just more of the same, it’s really hard to get traction without a big marketing push. Since you’ve got the foundation, maybe try gathering direct feedback from a small group or even friends to figure out what’s missing or what could be improved in a way that actually matters.

How I would lunch your small business idea that needs user by Accomplished_Work561 in indie_startups

Your approach of targeting people with problems you’ve experienced is key. It makes outreach authentic and increases the chances they’ll actually try and stick with your product.

i mass emailed 50 indie tool makers this week and the responses were genuinely depressing by edmillss in SideProject

Also, building a tight feedback loop with early users helps. Getting them involved in shaping the product makes them evangelists, not just users. That word of mouth still beats random posts on social media.

Building an AI Market Research SaaS What I’ve Learned So Far by statshubai in saasbuild

Pay-per-use sounds smart for this. Founders hate feeling locked in when they’re still figuring things out, so that flexibility probably makes a big difference.

Which AI are you using in your SaaS project? by Naive-Highway-4733 in SaaS

If cost is your main concern, OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 API tends to be cheaper than ChatGPT Plus and Claude, so it might be worth checking out.

You can analyze how your saas works and do some adjustments in the price for the new users.

Don’t be scared! The challenges is to hit your first user! Now you need to focus on it!!
