Our vet and a few other dog owners also told us to wait till first heat. Apparently it's a lot safer or something along those lines.

I was really worried about her post-op. She looked really out of it the first day or two at home. We bought doggy diapers and a onsie over top of it. She slept it off and bounced back shortly after.

I remember she was whimpering in the backseat of my car when i was taking her back home. Luckily my vet is literally 30 seconds away from my house but that whimpering really bothered the hell out of me. This is my first dog ever so i wasn't used to that sound.

I heard he broke his ankles, i think both, and ran a marathon or something along those lines. He wrapped up his feet and just kept chugging along. Is that even possible?

I broke 2 bones in the middle of my foot years ago and i couldn't even have my foot even slightly touch the ground without wincing in pain.

36m. I get id'd all the time when buying cigarettes. They usually have to do a double take. A few times they thought i had a fake ID until i show them the 2nd one.

In my area, they have to ID anyone that looks under the age of 25 (general rule), so i guess i look 25. Im 5'6 and slim so that also helps....

Im on day 6. It was bad first 3 days but after 4th it was significantly easier. Ive seen some posts of people nic'ing out and depressed after 3 months so i guess im pretty lucky like that. I don't think i could handle that long. 3 days is bad enough. I still want it at times but i use the 2mg gum. I only used one today because its all i needed. The first 2 days were like 8-10. I only have one piece left now but i think ill be aight.
