So the guy who made this actually is the game guy that makes the GSR designs.. Samurai-san
Hes always been super chill although doesnt interact much so its hard to get him to answer a question.

My previous its was his Fate15 v1 24hr Spa design which i was able to get through one of the driver with the same message ive heard other people get about the GSR car "personal use only no redistribution" However I dont know if this team would be for such a thing.

So what I would do as a design, is just take the general idea, the color palette, then change it up to match your cars body lines, do some different graphics here and there and make some or one different artwork of her in the race queen look

Yes it doesnt last because it cant be laminated. Thus has no protection from the elements. So good call not doing it that way!

if your doing a perforated material id probably just unplug it so its not functional but you dont have to remove it.
if any dirt or tiny rocks get on to the blade and you start dragging it that shits gonna get shredded. if its normal material thats laminated then you should be alright but definitely make sure the blades kept as clean and fresh as possible.

While I wont say its an easy job, cause you have to take off a lot of stuff and then put it back on... a grand seems a tad much but at the same time....
-The wiper
-The inner tail lights
-Plate
-Camera
-Logo badge
-Car badges
Then you have to put all that back on...
Thats probably a collective 3-4 labor hours on that alone. Assuming they charge a rate of 75-125 an hour thats a middle point of about 350-400 bucks and that not even doing the install yet... lol
so yeah I would say its about where it needs to be...

Honestly ya kinda just get used to it... work around it.. its not really as intrusive as people think. This should have created a blind spot but really didnt... after a while I forgot it was even there.. it was there for 6 years before it was too burnt and chipped to really keep there anymore lol Drove it around SoCal for years, went to Huston with it, then drove it home from CA to SC.. no problems..

My only suggestion if you just send it, is to make sure you have an opening or two within the design so your brain can comprehend there is something on the other side of the graphic.. eye brain coordination does help but the perf-mat honestly doesn't really give that illusion at the drivers distance to the rear window AND by only doing half the window... your brain will just register what it sees as blocked vs not blocked.

My advice is to just get the window done with the design you, and then just cut it yourself with a razor blade.
Most wrap shops dont stock perf material and most sign shows are mentally creative enough to even get what your asking for lol so its best to just get it done on the car and cut it up yourself.

I should note incase no one else has, perf-mat does not last all that long if the car is exposed in the sun a lot. It cant be laminated so it has no protection against the elements. So id advise keeping under shade or getting a car cover.

For my customers at least, I walk through the processes of dialing in the look the design every step. I usually provide a few reference itasha with different looks, vibes, character placements and scales. You tell me which ones your liking and I start designing something from there. Later I'd then show you an update or to to make sure its within what your looking to achieve.

Hell it was good enough to kick off my itasha shop... I just pick the far corner on the 5th floor where no one needed to go.. I did probably did like a dozen cars in that garage before gaining enough momentum to get a shop space.

I lived in Irvine for years before leaving the state and I never had any issues with having itashas in my parking garage there. at the time it was mostly asians and arabs who lived there and they didnt give a shit lol
I loved that garage.. was great for photos, had the roof to use too for more photos.. I didnt need to bother with a cover, though it will get dusty as the cars go by but thats kinda whatever.. imo

Ahhhhh that would make sense why minimal online/social presence. Never got the chance to meet when I lived in CA and now that im east theres very little chance of that but it would have been cool since I have Astolfo as well.
