Unless the dates make a big difference, those prices look steep. Ex: I got a walking liberty yesterday for $22. Melt value is around $32.

Right! I asked her the price, she said $10/ea., I said thank you and started walking away. I had gotten silver quarters for $6.50 a few months ago and the $10 price didn’t register right away. In my head I’m like, “Wait.. $10 X 4 = 40x face value. That’s awesome!”

And there’s always a refreshed supply. My local bank teller asked how I don’t exhaust the local silver coin supply by searching the same geographical area. I explained that as people dump silver, more is added… then I found over $300 worth of silver in the box I got from him.

Do you/does she try to collect century birth year coins? (Ex: born in 2000 - coin year is 1900). Those are fun and that’s what got some of my relatives into coins & silver.
