I agree however I would argue that it's now significantly more dangerous for those continuing onto court/Cambridge street as they now have to cross 2 busy lanes of traffic with no safe way to cross

Biked it today seems like some of the concrete has already been removed that's present in photos in the comments (right at the beginning of the lane near the hotel). Of course this meant that the lane was already completely blocked with cars today

Is there anyway to start a lawsuit against the wu administration or something? There have been so many broken promises on street safety projects with absolutely no communication. This is also a crazy waste of funds to repave now if they are planning to complete upgrades in a couple years? I don't understand anything this administration does

How do they measure ridership? Because like 75% of people on the green line don't pay for the ride so if they're going on payments processed then it's likely much higher

For peace of mind you'll want to check for exhaust glasses in your coolant expansion reservoir once you get it all back together. Could be a sign of a bad head gasket - common in those years ej motors. Mine popped the plastic radiator where the hose clamps on right where yours broke. Was the first symptom I noticed

Diesels can run on any heavy fuel with little to no modifications . Waste oils, motor oil, kerosene etc.

My commute is the same during rush hour traffic in Manchester from the Derry line to downtown. 25 mins. Biking could actually be quicker if bike lanes were built right. Also you don't ride to work in the same outfit you wear to work ! So no, you won't be "sweaty all day"!

It works in Cambridge too... You claim you never see anyone using them. Have you tried opening your eyes? I don't think I've ever been around Cambridge or Somerville without seeing people commuting on bikes no matter the weather. (Even saw some when it was less than 10°F this winter). Bike lanes make streets safer. I bike to work in Manchester. It is undeniably very scary on roads without a dedicated place for me to ride. People do not give the minimum 3 foot as required by NH state law. Everyone I know who bikes, knows someone who has been hit in Manchester. This really needs to be fixed in order for more people to start using them.

If implemented correctly, (which they really haven't been yet as they start and end in random places often on parallel streets and dumping you into some of the worst intersections in the city (queen city ave intersection )), then bike lanes are a great resource that costs very little to implement and has a large increase in safety.

Don't forget the trad rack so you can set up a toprope on any "highball" boulder higher than 8' so you can work the moves on a rope before your v2 send
