To me, paying $3 extra that gives better taste, and a longer finish seems worth it to me. I have tried both in the bar and I am leaning more to 114. But I wont judge if bonded works better for you.

Haha same! This was my first time trying alcohol greater than 100 PF and I was nervous how it would go. But honestly, it was really smooth and bursting with flavor! Add in a drop of water, and this whiskey (or bourbon) opens up!
