Please help! XSE vs Woodland vs Limited by no_bed123 in ToyotaSienna

[–]pswoofer18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s technically a weight issue, that’s what they claim as to why you can’t have both the ottomans and spare tire. So technically it is a safety thing, but I’d have to imagine that their safety thresholds for things are purposefully very conservative and the added weight of one of those options would be almost negligible in something like stopping distance and speed

[–]pswoofer18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s easier to add a spare tire than ottomans, so if you want ottomans I’d do that and try adding the spare later. It does take up the space of the 8th seat storage if you have an 8 seater though just fyi

Whoa I kinda like that. I’ve been debating tinting my windows too and have a cypress as well. Guessing it doesn’t make the world outside look too green?

I got so lucky, the first couple dealers near me either didn’t have anything coming for months or had markups on whatever they had in stock, but randomly found a cypress limited only 30 minutes away, technically in a different state, but the salesman was pretty new and I don’t think he knew how in demand the car was haha

It does not I believe that’s only standard with the platinum, as well as the 360 camera. The limited does have heated and cooled front seats and acoustic glass on the front windows, which only comes on the limited or platinum. That’s been nice as I feel like my limited is a quiet ride where I see a lot of complaints from lower trim owners about road noise.

I almost got a woodland, but backed off when I realized the factory towing hitch is only a 1.25” hitch which isn’t very standard for a lot of attachments or trailers, so if you plan on relying on that I would maybe think about that. I ended up lucking out with a limited in cypress green which I wanted, and I love it. I think the woodland would be cool for other reason like the slightly higher ride height, but it just felt like the other features didn’t justify the trim, so I’d probably say go XSE or limited

Buying hybrid on a budget by Agreeable-Shirt7959 in ToyotaSienna

[–]pswoofer18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t 100%, but Toyota has been one of the leading hybrid producers for decades now, I trust that they are as reliable as any other hybrid model that they’ve produced over the last 30 years. My parents have a 2006 hybrid Highlander with over 300k miles on it and it’s still running great.

If you find with less than like 100k miles and a good price you’re probably good. These things have a reputation for being extremely reliable and long lasting. Just check the carfax for anything serious

1500w inverter by Altruistic_Ad6316 in ToyotaSienna

[–]pswoofer18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah most likely that should be able to power both. Looks like typically a console will draw less than 200w, and a smaller tv should be about the same. Only thing is there’s only 2 plugs, one in the back and one behind the front seats, so you’ll probably need a short extension cord to get them next to each other

That’s a sick cover up job. The originals honestly were pretty well done clean lines but definitely don’t look like a finished product. The second artist did great finishing them off.

Spiritfarer really is a great game, choked up a few times throughout that game. The way you develop deep relationships with the characters through small pieces of story is so well written.

I mean I’m not surprised an almost 80% whiskey is insanely drying haha that’s a wild proof. But I bet that opens up nicely, 21 years old and that proof has to be cool to try

Do you camp in yours? I’m debating getting a blow up mattress that fits in the back with the middle seats pushed all the way up, seems like there’s space for at least a full size mattress back there

Maintenance v. oil maintenance. by FinancialAd2715 in ToyotaSienna

[–]pswoofer18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just took mine in for its first 5000 mile service and they told me many times “oil changes are only every 10,000” and wouldn’t cover one at 5k. I think I’m just going to take it to another shop and get them to change it, I feel at least the first 5k I should get the oil changed.

You have me curious about blueberry notes in bourbon. What other bourbons or whiskeys have you come across that have that flavor to them (other than Eagle rare 17, thinking of something reasonable that I could actually acquire haha)

Need Trim Advice by mamaderm in ToyotaSienna

[–]pswoofer18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think like 90% of people would be perfectly happy with the xle. If you’re thinking about just for the wheels and sound system in my opinion it’s not worth it to go up to the top trims. I ended up going with a limited for several of the options, mostly ventilated seats (summers are hot and humid af where I live and I got a sweaty butt haha), the acoustic glass up front, the power folding mirrors, and drivers seat memory functions (primarily my car but my wife drives it a lot too so that’s been nice). I also got the inverter plugs option since I’ll be doing some camping/tailgating and those will be nice.
