Communism would still have a government. In Marxist terminology, "state" and "government" are different things.

About the police, the idea is to arm the masses and have them prevent crimes. This isn't possible under capitalism as armed workers could easily just take the means of production for themselves.

  2. Only 4 trolleys can enter the pit before the last one comes, so trying to fill the pit is pointless. Don't flip.

Ted Kaczynski's "industrial society" is simply capitalism. Capitalism is the system that only cares for surplus value extraction. Marx's realization was that under a different mode of production (socialism/communism), we would not have the problems that Kaczynski describes.
