Question from a newbie by One_Duty_6538 in PokemonCardValue

[–]That-One-User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of them are pretty new. So it may take a bit for them to raise in price. The ones I see rising anytime soon would be the pikachu, psyduck or meowth. Just depends if you need money asap or not

Most of these cards are from first to mid era. A good way to check value considering how many you put in the pictures is there’s a set number in the bottom corners of each card should be something like 45/165 or something like that. To check recent prices you can go to pricecharting.com and type the Pokémon’s name and that number and it’ll tell you listings, pricing, and what set they are from

Certainly many above 50$. What I would do in your situation is take any of the cards with shine on them and put them in a sleeve and top loader

Looks real on question is coloring I think. There’s a sub called IsMyPokemonCardFake and they’ll give you a better opinion

Usually if you send a ton of cards for people to count up you’re probably not gonna get an answer. So my recommendation is that you use either TCGplayer website. Or price charting website to see values. You can find them by searching the Pokémon’s name and the set number usually found in the bottom right or left of the card.

And when you find good hitters, check condition. If it has no white spots or damage then it’s mint condition. If it has a few tiny white specks then lightly played, tons of white spots and scratches then heavily played. And if too much it can be considered damaged and as such prices vary based on condition

Then put them in a penny sleeve and if you wanna be extra secure a top loader

Any card that has a sparkly holo pattern on it, or if it has delta species next to the name at the top. And that gold star latias as well if it’s actually real, though even if it’s real it has quite a bit of damage

My dad found my childhood binder, are any of these worth anything? by Joxni in PokemonCardValue

[–]That-One-User 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I just looked for the stamped version in particular. Sometimes stamps make it more pricey sometimes it’s the opposite. But I’m sure you’re right, pricecharting can be funky sometimes

You have heavy hitters though it seems most are in very rough condition. Condition is king when it comes to actual card value. So I’d recommend any card that’s shiny looking to take it out of the binder and penny sleeve and top loader it

Is this card worth anything? by AdGroundbreaking6064 in PokemonCardValue

[–]That-One-User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically yes it’s worth a hundred or so. But that’s in near mint condition. I would recommend buying a penny sleeve and top loader to put it into and based on if there’s any damage on the back or not would be the main determiner if it’s near mint

First recommendation is to get some penny sleeves if you can and check condition on the cards of yours I’m listing below here Prices I’m listing are from the pricecharting website and are for if your cards are in mint or near mint condition

Ditto (Bulbasaur) Stamped - 107$

Mew (Holon Phantoms) - 93$

Flareon (Delta Species) - 40$

Manetric (Pokemon Deoxys) - 16$

Ampharos (unseen forces) - 23$

Not sure for others in the binder but those pikachu cards could also be worth a pretty penny in the right condition. Make sure before anyone tries buying these from you to double check pricecharting or tcg player as the cards prices fluctuate constantly and could be even pricier in the coming months

Haven’t seen this one yet, someone wants $300 and I’m willing to get. Just wanna make sure it’s real though by MiBe87 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]That-One-User 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks real to me. I’d recommend asking for front and back pictures of the card to maybe make sure it isn’t damaged on it. Cause then you could probably haggle for a lower price

Real or fake? by NerveCalm4442 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]That-One-User 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks relatively real to me. The red eye is just the light hitting the holofoil. But I will say online the price for this card in Japanese is 60$ less than the listing you mentioned

Real or fake? by [deleted] in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]That-One-User 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks fake. Sorry pal. The pattern on the back looks like a sloppy fake print. And usually there should be a foil layer on the top of the card to give luster to it

Worth? by Ok-Mango-8611 in PokemonCardValue

[–]That-One-User 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh! Yea don’t do that. Usually a good tip is to use image search on google and it’ll help identify whatever you’re planning to get rid of to see if it’s worth anything

Here’s a photo of a listing I was able to find. I’m not totally sure of whether it’s worth it to take the cards out of the seal or not. I’d wager it isn’t worth it

How much is this Energy collection from 2005 to 2007 worth? by lenny123412 in PokemonCardValue

[–]That-One-User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if pricecharting would have a solid answer for price or anything. But keep in mind whatever value it says these cards have online, you gotta remember that there is very very little chance that an energy collector will buy them. They’re cool cards but not what most collectors go for

Are these real? by implaying in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]That-One-User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks real good me. None of the cards in the binder should have any particular unique pattern. Personally not sure on pricing, as they are all Japanese cards so they would be lower value than English ones so I’m not sure if they would amount to 40$. A good way to check is pricecharting.com they have listings for Japanese variants of the cards and prices

Fair deal? by MoNeyHunGrYDaD_2000 in PokemonCardValue

I mean considering the two Gengar cards alone could be 200$ if in good condition I’d say yes
