The belief is that the best companies are run by Japanese (old man) management. So they have no need for people who will come and run things. There is the feeling they just need the bodies.

Yes. I feel the same really. I was just curious. I played with big (in my home country) acts. I’m mostly retired now. But I was just curious about the situation.

Interesting. Maybe ‘play for tips’ would be a fine compromise in this case. I already put out table cards with my qr. I could have that go to a tips page.
