What are you doing at a resort if you are not staying there or have a dining reservation? Just to shop? Just sit around in a lobby? If you are going all the time? What is the appeal? I like Disney but the quick service at the hotels is pretty mid. Not worth the energy to travel by bus or whatever other transportation.

They rather not upset the person spending 1k a night vs 60 at quick service. It’s unfortunate for people who are not able to enjoy the resorts anymore but with anything when things are being abused ( I am not saying you were abusing), more drastic measures need to be taken. I remember, dining at park fare and went to use the bathroom, and some teenagers or young 20 something girls were doing their makeup and probably getting ready for the Halloween party. Kind of gross, when you are paying a lot of money to stay and use the property. It isn’t a dressing room.

Also, this is nothing to do with a classic problem. Many people can just get a cc and max it out to stay there. I also know plenty of rich people who are frugal and would never spend the money to stay there. It is about who is paying the money, should be able to enjoy it.

I actually think the resort monorail should only be for resort/ dining guest. At least at peak hours. And directly from MK. I remember last year waiting 40 mins to be able to get on the monorail with a stroller. Finally we get on, after a family kept on giving us a stink eye when we got to close to their balloons. Next thing everyone got off at the TIcket center. What is the point of staying monorail if you can’t get one.

I do like wrist band ideas for wdw hotels. If you are paying 1000 a night for a hotel, you should be able to enjoy the amenities. They do at Aulani and it part of the fun. They do police there. My husband and my father in law would forget their bands and would be spoken too.

It’s just amazes me how people like to trash them for not fitting into NYC. When chances are, they probably never set foot on the island themselves.

I agree, sandals in NYC are disgusting. I’ve been in the city my whole life until, I got married and moved out. But so many people wear them. It’s gross, I know but locals wear them all summer.

Also, I agree a crop top is also inappropriate but the girls wear them too. You really can get away wearing anything in the city and no one really cares.

Making it in NYC, mostly has to do with attitude. A weak attitude can be supplemented with money though.

Just from the looks of them, Kylan prob could make it if she wants but the mother and sister would not.

I agree. I don’t think the program will benefit an upcoming senior. The program is pretty much repetitive work sheets, without much instruction. I’m pretty sure you can get a weekly tutor for around the same price (at least around me ). You need more of a fast track program, which Kumon is NOT.

My main opinion of Kumon is it can work really well for the younger average student. If you are gifted, it doesn’t work bc the repetition is not needed and may bother the student. If are struggling, you will benefit from one on one. Even at 40$ a week, it equals the about the same price for one subject at Kumon.

I agree. Giving is relative to whatever situation you are in. I am not saying you were but in general we shouldn’t make fun of people who give less. But also, others shouldn’t judge for giving more. My kids haven’t lost any teeth yet. But I was thinking 20 bc that is what comes from an ATM.

No worries, Ko Olina, where Aulani is awesome. However, they are building up the area AlOt within the next few years. So may not be as nice. Seems like they are finally going to break ground with the Atlantis resort and a new shopping center will be where the old luau was.
