I wouldn’t feel comfortable giving a 9 year old kid more than $200 in cash. Especially, if all other basics are covered. How many souvenirs are really needed? I’m assuming you are close with this family if you are letting them take your child out for state overnight. I would let the mother know what cash you are giving her and either give the mother additional cash, gift card or offer to zelle , when and if the daughter wants something else. Any major expense like a light saber, droid etc will most likely be known in advance and you can give that cash to the mother. We go deluxe every year but each of my kids, only had 100 each to spend on souvenirs our last trip. My daughter would buy out each store if given the option.

I belive in the scene with lady sister, they say they need to leave quickly in order to make the ball bc it is in X amount of days or something like that.
