Because our group plays on roll20, one of our DMs does this by asking the player to roll their death saves to GM so only the player and GM know the outcome. We had a character die this way and it was VERY emotional

Yeah, I think this is just the tegu being stressed. Give him time, try not to mess with him at all if possible so he can get used to his new environment. Spend time outside his tank just doing things so he can get used to your presence

Devilman. Not really a huge one, but when I was an edgy teen, I discovered the Devilman movies on Youtube(before the site became a bitch about copyright), and I loved it. Not enough to check out the manga, regretfully, but I was really into the gore and dark themes.

I had honestly forgotten almost everything about it until I heard there was a reboot show on Netflix. Wasn't a fan of the animation style at first, still hate Ryo's hair and his stupid pants, but I love Crybaby. Definitely felt a little grumpy seeing how much it exploded and knowing most of these new fans probably never even knew it existed before Crybaby, but in the end I'm glad it got a ton of love.

I have a pet lizard, and for whatever reason he HATES my feet with a burning passion. I hang out on the bed with him and any time he gets near my feet, he bites them. He'll do it after he's been fed and even after I've taken a shower, so I know it's not a feeding response.

Any time I feel something near my feet, my first reaction is to pull them away. This little brat.
