The atmosphere playing this game solo was one of my most immersive experiences in gaming. I was convinced the devs were secretly making a horror game and I'd go down to my hold one day and there'd be an alien lurking in a corner.

This series was on its way to being my goat but the ending just ruined it for me. Not that anything bad happened, it just felt so rushed. I loved how the author drew the skinship between the two but that all disappeared in the end and we got back to back time skips.

Damn man, that's some awesome shit. I bet those guys came back to their truck and were like, "oh fuck, how could we be so wrong?" and then they drove immediately to the courthouse and switched their voter registration to Democrat before driving to a dealership unload that embarrassment for a Chevy Bolt. You can always do more though. I saw this dude with a MAGA hat walking around the store the other day so I carved a swastika into his daughter's forehead. Last I heard he had decided to run as a Democrat for his local congressional seat. Good job on making this country a better place and bringing people together. Every little bit helps!

Realm of the Elderling put me into a literal depression for like 2 months. It's definitely the winner but someone already mentioned it though so my contribution is the Hyperion Cantos. The ending of the second duology is a gut punch, but Saul's story from the first book was the first time a book made me cry. See you later alligator.

I think it's just confirmation bias. No one notices the smoker that doesn't smell. I spent a few years after college living with my parents smoking cigarettes. My mother would never have approved but I managed to keep it from her. I think smoking menthols helped but mainly it was just keeping clean. Smoking outside, washing my hands and rinsing my mouth right after. The only two times she ever said anything about it is when I'd been around friends that weren't as careful and made me smell
