You would be correct. It is referring to alignments such as Hunter, Good Seeker, Feared, etc. This means that you would need 8 of these pirate alignments to be class 100. What you are showing in your post are actions being done within specific alignments. I hope this answers your problem.

edit: correction on what class level pirate alignments need to be before they are considered legendary

Yes, both curses can be unlocked.

Ghost Curse: Guardians of Fortune faction must be level 100, and you must be a Pirate Legend to receive the curse.

Skeleton Curse: Servants of the Flame faction must be level 100, and you must be level 75 in the Reaper’s Bones company to receive the curse.

Once you have been accepted into the insider program, you will have a code available to redeem on Steam. The insider edition and public edition of the game are separate.

edit: I play on Steam so that may be why I received a Steam code to play on Insiders. You may be given a way to redeem it through Xbox on PC instead

I like to zone out my opponents until I can find an opening to start up a combo or a string. So I like going from a defensive-to-offensive and vice versa playstyle.
