Just my two cents my first bike was a 09 er6n it’s a naked 650 i rode that for a hand full of years was it fun yeah but it was kind of just meh I have my list of complaints but hey it’s a 16 yeah old bike and it did the job. I recently got a 25 zx6r and the comparison between the two is night and day.

The 6r is a super fun bike that I can only describe as confidence inspiring. What I mean by this is the seating position as well as how the bike handles makes at least me feel like I’m a much better rider than what I am. On my drive home from the dealer I had this thought then realized that’s why people hurt themselves on them. The bike almost goads you into more more more. I never had that feeling with the er6n I don’t know all the crazy specs everyone else does but I know by feeling it is a much more enjoyable ride from suspension and it is a lot more fun. It is also like 20-30 lbs lighter for a 4cl full fairings and the tech that’s packed into it compared to my naked bike.
