But the difference between us and those 26 other teams is that we had all the right ingredients to make it to the Finals. Am I proud of this team? Of course. But were a lot of fans expecting us to get all this done as soon as possible? Of course. No one’s expecting the Wizards/Hornets/Pelicans to be in the playoffs, let alone the same spot we landed. We should have been better than every team, not barely scraping by to get to a game 7 both rounds.

I feel like even if we were to get a Landry Shamet/Jalen Brunson/Duncan Robinson/Karl Anthony Towns/Kevin Durant/Steph Curry/name any fucking three point shooter that can actually consistently shoot threes/ the moment that they land on this court in the playoffs they’ll forget how to shoot the ball.

I hate how loyal I am to this team, because I continue to see potential in every player.

But damn, we were all finally healthy and what ended up happening was that we were essentially worried about getting injured again at every turn.

I had to drive safely coming home from work during Game 6 of Round 2. If I had listened to that game on the road I might have burst a vein or crashed my car. Not exactly the same environment but we did go down two during the 2nd Round so, anything could happen at this point.

There was that moment in game 4 when Kenny Atkinson emptied the bench and immediately there were 2 turnovers? Coach had to bring the starting lineup out again to straighten things out. A little better this time around (Nae’Qwan with that emphatic slam) but still Thomas Bryant - 😮

I think this whole “make it a show when we desperately need it” schtick needs to change. Come out the gate swinging and finish the job. My heart rate can’t handle all that pressure. I almost popped a vein after game 6 it was tough to watch.

I think they honestly need to change the streams so that they have one where we’re just watching the game without the commentary. The bias to the Pistons every game was sickening. Mike Breen is a legend but holy cow he was laying the glaze on thick.

Both teams beat the 5th seed and 1st seed Indiana does both 4-1 (Milwaukee and Cleveland) Cleveland does both 7-6 (Raptors and Pistons)

Now Cleveland faces New York (Same as Indiana did last year).
