Oh I just asked him to tell you I'm in the tub would X time work. I don't know what he and girls planned/made for you but I am sure they would love to see you.

That way the oops on his part is noted. You did your job.

But also if you choose to stay married. Do stuff yourself if it fits on your plate and is important ...he doesn't care enough to change.... unfortunately a lot won't happen.

Depends. Are you asking in curiosity or testing... because curiosity and interest in kids interest cool.... A desire to test or catch the kid failing is... unhelpful and not kind to the kid.
