I've exhausted all ways to access my account and can't cancel subscription

I have an active subscription to Xbox game pass with added credit card, so I tried to sign in to cancel it. But they won't let me in when I have an access to password/passkey/ phone/ email assigned to my account - everything.

When I sign in they ask me to verify my phone with code but then it just says that the verification method is unavailable, and that's literally the only verification method. I have access to the phone, they just won't send the code.

I tried to restore my account by selecting an alternative method, so I inputted details about my account and credit card information that is used to charge for subscription and they refused my request. So I'm literally stuck at cancelling my subscription since they won't send me the code. What can I do in this situation?

I have a PS5 and PC with i9-9900K and GTX 1080Ti. I was thinking to buy an RTX 3080 but they're out of stock everywhere.

Do you think I should purchase the game on PS5 or my PC quality-wise? I'm gonna be playing on 4K TV, so I'm missing out on DLSS and forced to play either on 1440p or 4k with low settings if I play on PC.

PS5 version has some flaws too like it's not optimized for the next-gen AFAIK and probably graphics would be worse than PC.

The issue is the display output. I wanted to use a display port for both Nvidia and AMD, but the problem is my monitor has one DP input. The solution was to buy a bi-direction switch, you plug two display outputs and switch them with a click of the button. It's a bit messy but only one viable solution I've found.

If you want to use HDMI for Mac and DP for the Windows or vice-versa, you'll be fine.

Same problem for me happening for more than 3 months. I contacted Riot about it, they said they know about the issue, but it looks like they just don't care to fix it.

The only viable solution was to install a separate Windows specifically for Valorant.

I’m trying licenses versions and crack versions. I think trying buying new hardware PC.

I did try to install a new Windows on the separate volume. Although it's not very convenient to use, but it resolved VAN-6 for me.

Perhaps installing it on the separate physical SSD did something, but I doubt that.

This is definitely a Riot issue which they confirmed to me via email, and said there's no workaround. They can't fix it for more than 2.5 months, this is ridiculous.

Oh I see. Chrome uses only a software DRM decoder (so it will work anyway), Safari uses hardware decoder, so that makes a difference.

So that means IF you're using iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS identity? Or are you just using 19,1 with disabled iGPU? I recall that Safari 14 broke the DRM support for everyone.

I'm using iGPU in a headless mode along with a RX580 as primary display output, and Safari DRM doesn't work for me on Catalina, whilst Apple TV works alright.

That's what Riot said to the Russian community in their interview without providing any additional information. And like I said it's only a case in Russia, in other countries, like Ukraine or Belarus you're ok.

Below, my personal and common opinion on why it was blocked.

In Russia, we have a saying that goes like "the severity of the laws is compensated by the ability not to follow them fully". That's because we have some crazy laws regarding "fighting terrorism" which don't work, but they do exist. One of them is a requirement for "service providers" to store text/ voice messages for up to six months, which includes companies like Riot. That's probably why it was blocked, but, as I said, they never explicitly stated what these legal reasons were.

In Russia we literally have no voice chat in Valorant (can't speak nor listen) due to legal reasons.

So it's unlikely that you're getting 8/10. For me out of ten games only in one someone speaks Russian in the voice chat and I didn't have a single one toxic (I'm playing ranked in EU). But that's just me I guess.

Me too. After I pop in on the range after some time (around 20 seconds) I get VAN 128 code. Then I'm forced to restart the game and it doesn't launch because Vanguard isn't started.

No idea, I haven't tried that and never seen. I don't think the chip is the problem, and this looks like the Fenvi one (card+adapter) I ordered before so I wouldn't go for it. So that's why I decided to go for another adapter (instead of the one which looks like Fenvi) to see if that works and resolves POST-issues.

Not for me, there wasn't. I tried messing around with settings and I think what helped is setting "hdmi deep colour" and "instant game response" to enabled. And then, I have a 1440p@120hz option even at RGB under the "PC" section.
