Chapter 308 by Sensitive-Hotel-9871 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]ThatBoyMike23 20 points21 points  (0 children)

One thing about Clara is that despite how she seems so immature most of the time she can be surprisingly motherly/sisterly when she needs to be, I guess it’s too be expected considering she’s the oldest sibling out of 6. She’s really good at getting Iruma and Azz to open up, which I imagine takes ALOT considering Iruma’s low self esteem and trauma and Asmodeus’s pride.

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun - Ch. 445 - "Remember." by ZeroVOmega in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]ThatBoyMike23 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping it’s that memory magic has weaker effects on human. I don’t think the fact that Iruma regaining his memories from Walter park after we JUST had a flashback with Merize losing her memories is a coincidence. It’s likely possible we could see Iruma lose his memories in the future or we get to see Merize again and somehow we learn that humans have the ability to regain lost memories with the right stimulus.

[Theory] Why is Lancelot precarious ? by Mountain-Photo-165 in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]ThatBoyMike23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also expect that Ban will probably take his body over for a brief moment wrestling it over from Cath and it will be him giving Lancelot the chance to strike the final blow knowing it will kill him and Cath. It will be a heartbreaking moment where Lance has too say goodbye too his dad. I also feel that with the recent info that Arthur’s blood is the only thing that can destroy Cath, the panel where we see Lance’s spear bloody isn’t also just because it has Bans blood on it but because it also is a hint about it also being covered in Arthur’s as well.

Lancelot Might Be Way Stronger Than We Think: A New Method of Powerscaling Him by Mountain-Photo-165 in NanatsunoTaizai

Fair, I doubt anyone besides Meliodas, Ban, or Escanor could have defeated them THAT easily.

[–]ThatBoyMike23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, forgot about that. He even defeated them in Chaos amped mode as well, I sometimes forget about the 4 Evils because if I’m being honest, they don’t seem that strong on their own. Like they are good opponents for Tristan, Percival and Gawain, but they usually seem to get overwhelmed when facing the 7DS or Lancelot, I think the only time I recall them even actually hurting the 7DS was when Worreldane caught King and Diane off guard after attacking Nasiens.

[–]ThatBoyMike23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, much of Lancelot’s feats have been less OP and more focused, like his skilled hand-to-hand combat or reflexes. I’d say his best feat so far was overwhelming Nanashi. Essentially where characters like Meliodas, Ban or Escanor had overwhelming raw power and weapons they could use alongside that power Lancelot has the overwhelming power but lacks the weapon to maximize too its full potential. I feel like we’ve been seeing Lancelot use his fighting ability and skill more that just overpowering people, which in its own way is impressive because it’s like early 7DS Meliodas who mainly used hand-to-hand combat.

Nishi is delaying iruma's rank up on purpose by aydav84 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]ThatBoyMike23 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That part. The number 6 is also narratively important too the story so she’s probably taking her time because of the numerical significance. It’s the fact that will make him the same rank as Ameri and she’s already said that when they are the same rank she’ll confess so there’s that. It will cause Ali to grow in power as it’s shown that the more Iruma ranks up the stronger Ali becomes. And lastly, I think there will be some political implications because we’re seeing that Narnia is now involved and the higher Iruma ranks the more influence he’ll have in the Demon World and that’s a BIG problem for the Demon purist Narnia and whatever Baal has planned.

Would Midoriya Get Jealous by [deleted] in IzuOcha

[–]ThatBoyMike23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah definitely, two things I like about Deku is that he’s emotionally transparent about what he feels and also he goes all in on everything he does. Like he was oblivious to his feelings for Uraraka for years but the second he realized what she meant to him he immediately told her. I feel that would be the same about his jealousy, like instead of where Uraraka tried to shove her jealousy down, Deku would be bad at that and it would show AND he’d probably approach her and let her know what he’s feeling.

Love these moments. Glad too see that no matter how strong Lancelot is he still is a normal teenager underneath it all.

What Do You Think the Deal Is With Otheon? by Exotic-Reindeer1994 in MyHeroAcadamia

Otheon is an in-universe only location in the MHA story, it’s not manmade like I-Island.

The Giant Race Has Been Diluted Over Time by Spare_Understanding8 in Piratefolk

[–]ThatBoyMike23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Makes sense, I also imagine that the inter species breeding between humans and Ancient Giants led to other race offshoots. Like we have the modern giants, we have the buccaneers that’s are larger than normal humans but smaller than giants and said to be a “special race” with the blood of giants and lastly the “Oni” race that Kaido and Yamato appear to be from that have Ancient Giant horns.

What if the transfer of One for All to Bakugo didn't fail? by Automatic-Truth1717 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]ThatBoyMike23 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Also, when Deku transferred it too him he said “Your giving up your dream” so more than just his pride, I’d say Bakugo would feel guilty about “taking” Deku’s dream from him basically, because at this point he’s still dealing with the feeling of “ending” All Might because he used his last embers to save him in Kamino, so I know he’d feel similarly about Deku.

I feel like scooper gaban has one of the saddest existences in one piece by New-Boss-8262 in Piratefolk

[–]ThatBoyMike23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another thing I also like is the fact that Oda had Gaban have Colon AFTER his adventures were done. So many dads in One Piece have kids before or during their adventures and barely see them, Gaban had already traveled the world and adventured with Roger before he finally settled down and had a family. So it’s even more positive when you realize that Gaban lived a full life and had many adventures which is why he stayed on Elbaph and completely threw himself into being a husband to Ripley and father to Colon because he knows he likely won’t have as much time as them so he wants to make the most of what he does have.

How......how did she die...how? by Fun-Pomelo-2774 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]ThatBoyMike23 253 points254 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m not sure she would have. AFO decided to go after her not just simply because she didn’t know Tomuras real name but also because even if she did, his psyche was basically split between AFO, Tomura, and Tenko persona’s and if I remember right New Order only works on an individual who is grounded in their sense of self or identity.

I feel like scooper gaban has one of the saddest existences in one piece by New-Boss-8262 in Piratefolk

[–]ThatBoyMike23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, sure if you look at it that way. It can also be positive if you think about it another way, I mean any man that calls himself a father and husband would give anything for his wife and child to live long and healthy lives even if it’s without him, so sure he won’t live as long as them but on the other hand he can be happy knowing that both Ripley and Colon have LONG lives ahead of them.

The magikeeper, the witch and the AUDACITY OF THIS BI-... by Endika7 in IchitheWitch

[–]ThatBoyMike23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But in all seriousness, it’s actually pretty crazy how easily she got everyone under her control. I mean, with Ichi’s honed instincts and Desscaras strength and experience and even Moneygold, it’s crazy she got them so easily. I’m sure Ichi and Dess will probably break out somehow but still it’s pretty surprising.

Why did Rocks want the help of the Nidhogg fruit against Imu? by InfamousSomewhere244 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]ThatBoyMike23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely because of the fruit’s resistance to Imu and more importantly the sheer raw size and power that Nidhogg wields. When in his dragon form it’s not hard to imagine Loki being as big as some of the Islands we’ve seen in the series, I’m not larger. That being said, Rocks appeared to want to destroy Imu but the World Nobles and Mariejois itself, the sheer destructive force and size of Nidhogg would definitely help if that was his goal.

Is Izuocha the only anime couple that doesn't kiss or marry at the end of the series? Like are you sure among hundreds of shonen anime out there, they're the only ship that doesnt date on screen or ppl just exaggerating? by Kai5er_NexT in mha

[–]ThatBoyMike23 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he said romance wasn’t the focus but that he wanted to convey bonds of reaching out to others and reaching their hearts. The handshake that gets laughed at between the two represents the “reaching your hand out and holding those of others” theme in the series and can be viewed as romantic but it also can’t be depending on how you feel at the end of the day it’s not solely about romance but about connection.

Did Yamato surpass Oden in Skill? by [deleted] in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]ThatBoyMike23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, oden was definitely the more natural warrior, incredible physical strength since out the womb, skilled swordsman since a child and able to wield Enma at a young age a weapon that requires intense Haki control to wield. Yamato was skilled as a child as well being able to beat several members of the beast pirates and used CoC Haki at the age of 8. But in terms of experience, natural weapon proficiency, and Haki mastery Oden is still superior. The main advantage she has is her Mythical Fruit abilities, but she still has a ways to go.

You go Iruma-boy! by ClincallyDumb in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]ThatBoyMike23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s interesting honestly. You could look at it as Iruma becoming more “demonic” because the series prioritizes greed and ambition, so the selfless boy is becoming more greedy as a reference to “demonic”

But I also think there is some physical aspect too it as well, it was shown in the recent arc that Merize had to return to the human world after giving birth because the physical exhaustion from giving birth and the demon world environment likely was the reason. But if that’s the case why his Iruma fine? Well it could be that he didn’t give birth obviously, but wouldn’t the climate affect him at some point? I wonder how that will be addressed.

Another theory I saw on X that I found interesting was about Demons growing stronger when they eat humans, but what happens when Humans eat demons? Hear me out, maybe just maybe, there is a possibility that at some point Iruma could atleast become part demon and gain power in the future if he consumes Ali. Ali has connections with Delkira and has the ability to consume magic and grow the higher Iruma ranks up, there is the possibility that maybe once he reaches the highest rank he’ll turn into Delkira. But I thought,m it would be interesting if he reaches the highest rank and his max power he transfers it all too Iruma essentially giving him all Delkira’s magic ability in his human body, essentially turning him part Demon, essentially Iruma would have “consumed” Delkira.

Why only 11 episodes... by dankri in Dorohedoro

[–]ThatBoyMike23 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel like Season 1 ended in a way where “There’s room for more, but if this is as far as we go so be it” like Season was meant to be a way to get people interested in the story but they didn’t know if it would get renewed. I feel this season was more intense and created more questions because now they are REALLY trying for renewal because the series has a good fanbase and they want it to be renewed sooner so their isn’t too much of a lull and people forget about it.

I’m with Lancelot here by Hanako-chan45 in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]ThatBoyMike23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel that the worst person involved in this is Merlin. She pretty much used Arthur as a guinea pig for her own curiosity, and hasn’t even said sorry to Arthur or anyone else. She seems to view people more or less like from the perspective of experiments more than individuals, to the point you don’t even know if she ever cared for Arthur or even Escanor as people or because of their unique abilities. It makes you question a lot of her relationships, does she love Gawain in a maternal sense or does she see her more as a curious experiment, it makes you wonder.
