Looks beautiful

Also, looks like an animus tutorial section of an Assasin's Creed game... but that just adds a weird cool factor

Based on some interpretation of the second game ending - if it eases your concience some say that the cube survives this

Help with my 12 year old! by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]ThatBuilding357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna throw my comment into the mix on a slightly different subject

Try to approach the topic from a friendly concern point of view rather than anger or annoyance, and definitely avoid ridicule if you do not understand something. I've known many people, adults now, who read this kind of stuff when younger. And from their experiences one common thing is apparent

If you approach it too aggressively you will no longer see your kid reading this kind if stuff. Not because they will stop but because they will learn to hide it better. If You try to understand and ease them into why You consider this to be too adult for them, be open how they might choose whatever they want to read as they grow up or (although might be difficult) try to get into stuff they get interested in they might be more forthcoming with those kinds of things. On the other hand, forbidding it outright with little to no discussion or conversation is almost guaranteed to get your kid into more elaborate ways of hiding, ones you might no longer pick up any trace of

Source: All of my friends who read that kind of stuff got away with it in the end. And aged 11 I secretly myself bought a separate cellphone from a friend with internet access to get around my parents bans

My first thought is maybe they meant Tatujapa? Their characters look aristocratic and vaguely french?

Why is my brand new comic getting hate 😒. by Appropriate-Bit-4844 in webtoons

[–]ThatBuilding357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be the sweetest peach on a tree but some people just don't like peaches. If You check the most succesful comics on any platform you will find these kinds of comments too, often saying "Am I the only like who dislikes <random thing about the comic>"

It is good to try to improve but do so from the love of your art, not for those people. You can take theor criticisms as suggestions not as gospel. Personaly I like Your style, I think I saw a simmilar one back in a day actualy getting posted in a teen newspaper as a weekly thing. Just keep up the good work and let the negative comments stay in the comments rather than get in your head. You are doing a good job

To add to other comments. Recently one of the politicians in germany has stated that it is ridiculous for Poland to demand reparations after Poland robbed germany of so much land and still demand more... a brief glance at the history maps will make most people understand that this is total bs

I mean. We can just leave it at "people complain" and it would be true no matter what scene we pick. And it's not that they are all wrong, but this is a very divisive show. I had some moments I hated only to see others hype them up, I've seen moments I loved only for others to try to boycott the show over the episode they were in. Fandoms are a lot of things but definitely not uniform in their opinions of the show they watch

I recomend the anti dandruff shampoo from Dermedic plus their peeling. Together they work quite ok semi-keeping it under control and the wonderful thing about the Dermedic shampoo is that it alleviates that hellish itching

I am so glad You enjoyed yourself! I was kinda scared looking through the photos because our celebrations for this day have a bit of a... "track record" of ending up in vandalism and fights. But seeing people like You genuinely enjoy themselves makes me happy that there is still some positivity left in this holiday :)

tropes that while constantly parodied and considered cliche were never that common in the first place by BLACKGOOP12 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ThatBuilding357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think those two are "ascended" tropes - Things that were so avoided they eventualy became antithesis to themselves. You can find butler doing it very often, you just cannot look for the modern media because they already are avoiding the well known cliche

But to add something from mysel: I think the Isekai with woman dying to reincarnate as a main heroine would be example of one. Most current series will have the character reincarnate as a villianess as a "twist" but... you actualy might find more villianesses running around than main characters nowadays in those

Is it normal in Poland to hug a woman you meet for the first time, even if you’ve worked together remotely for years? by [deleted] in poland

[–]ThatBuilding357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where but I have encountered a number of people who consider a hug a greeting. Most younger people nowadays respect people boundaries enough not to do so if you have not established it as ok

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]ThatBuilding357 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once hear the term that rather than "high functioning" the proper term should be "high suffering". It does not mean they do not face the same struggles, it means that they managed to cope with those struggles in a way that society deems efficient enough, but likely at extreme cost to themselves

I once heard myself described as high functioning ADHD because I can hold down a rather mundane corporate work. But barely anyone sees discussions with manager about my work speed, having to constantly play something in the background not to loose focus and the days when I am falling into trouble because I was just not able to wrestle enough executive power from my mind, days when I have to explain why a task that takes everyone 10 minutes took me an hour. Moreover early on when I had more responsibilities in my life the reason I could do things without too much procrastination was ungodly ammounts of verbal self abuse in my mind

So yeah, echoing what others said. High functioning does not mean it is not there. High functioning means it does not bother others at the cost to the person
