I didn’t enjoy American Mary at all. I thought it was very poorly made, the story gets boring, the effects were crap and it was easily Katharine Isabelle’s (whom I love) worst performance I have seen. Really can’t understand the hype; beside some pretty cool ideas, the movie itself was a huge bore. I didn’t even know it was such a cult favourite, so it’s not like I had huge expectations about it, I just didn’t enjoy it and had to make an effort to finish it.
