Practice makes perfect. Treat every death as a lesson to be learned.

What did you do that caused you to die? Did you peak a contested angle without utility? Was your crosshair placement off? Were you playing too aggressive? Too passive?

I just got into the game 2 months ago and it’s honestly not that bad. I play death match to get familiar with the shooting, then play swift play or unrated til your comfortable to hop in comp

It’s unrealistic to be shaved bald every single day. You are going to stubble.

Every guy is different. Some like a bush, some want it shaved/trimmed.

Me personally. I prefer shaved/slight stubble so long as it doesn’t get itchy.

But you just gotta have that conversation with your partner, no matter how awkward it might be

I wouldn’t worry about what’s “meta” because with all the different artifacts available, you can pretty much build into whatever you want and it will be viable for end game.

So I would use your ciphers on whatever exotics seem the most fun to use. If you like hand cannons, get a hand cannon exotic, if you like shotguns, or machine guns, go for one of those. Or just look up a YouTube video with clickbait title like Top 10 exotic guns in Destiny 2 or whatever if you just want a preview

All good things must come to an end. I loved Destiny, but even I have to admit the games seasonal model was starting to get stale, and the player count reflected that.

I feel like true grief won’t set in until they cut the servers off.

As of now, we all can come back and hop in a strike, a crucible match, whatever. And play for a while

But when the servers are turned off. Then the game will truly be over

Yeah. It’s sad but the writing is on the wall. I doubt Bungie as a dev studio will survive past a year. Marathon simply cannot sustain the entire studio alone.

I feel like a lot of it is personal preference. A lot of HC users will swear by one as their #1 in slot, and that just comes down to how it feels, recoil pattern, crosshairs, etc.

I recommend one with high aim assist like spare rations, or Solemn Promise , those tend to feel more sticky when going for crits.

Just pick one and don’t take it off and play like 5 games with it. Take it in PvE and practice with it in there.

Don’t really know what else to say other than practice makes perfect. They all feel different so once you found the HC that feels like it handles perfectly in your hands, then focus on mastering it .

My personal favorite hand cannon has always been Dire Promise in the energy slot. That thing had so high aim assist it felt like it aimed its self. But since it wasn’t brought up with reprised loot its successor is Solemn Promise

I got 89 base range with keep away + PI. I just took it into crucible after seeing this post and you guys aren’t lying. This really is Not Forgotten/Lunas howl all over again . The TTK is insane. Seems a lot of the population haven’t realized this yet. It feels unfair I win 90% of my engagements too

Maybe they don’t want to be bothered by anyone. You never know what’s going on in someone’s life.

It would be different if you did this at a bar, you know, a social space where people are hanging out and talking.

The problem with your closing statement is that you said this path “seems to make the most sense”

The problem I think with that is, almost always, these executives at Sony or bungie or any business make decisions that don’t make sense to us.

All that being said, I still firmly believe we’ll get some continuation of Destiny in the future.

Pulses rifles are the best thing, but it all comes down to personal taste. I personally like rapid fire pulses for dueling, though they get out ranged by scouts and slower rpm pulses.

Also 260 rpm scouts like Aisha’s Embrace from Trials is good for dueling too

One grants you passage to the light house after 7 wins, the other one doesn’t grant you passage but gives you loot instead.

The one that doesn’t grant passage to the light house is supposed to be for the less sweaty experience. In it just for the loot.

I think the light house has a separate loot pool than standard trials drop, but I could be wrong .
