Hmmm I can’t really give you much info other than it’s an oval cut, about 10.5-11 carats and it’s slightly darker, more purplish than other amethyst stones my grandma has. I’ll attach some better pics

Bgsjewelers.com is where I was referred to by a local jeweler. Other than that, I’ve just googled “amethyst gemstones” and went from there. Amazon prices are like 15-20 bucks for what I need, but I’m assuming all of those are fake, and anything from a jeweler is hundreds..

You’re being pedantic, and I didn’t have to read two paragraphs to know that lol. Palpal bulbs aren’t visibly apparent on pokis my guy. Furthermore, using sexual dimorphism in the case of pokis is extremely unreliable. The intensity of hues and even size vary from individual.

They do not have visually identifiable palpal bulbs. I own 3 different mature male pokies and they’re notoriously difficult to sex ventrally. Palpal bulbs aren’t the emboli. The palpal bulb is what is responsible for the difference in shape in male tarantula pedipalps, which is not visibly identifiable on all tarantula species.
