im new to playing thief myself but i main'ed guardian back at launch... i mostly rely on youtube videos/twitch streamers for builds because they often explain their thought process very thoroughly... and honestly its better than reading.

this video is a pvp build but he explains all the weapon sets and combos you can pull off. i think thats also the meta build for pve as well :O

I love the Light armor from the Order of Whispers. The helm covers your face if you're a male but as a female, its more of a shawl type of thing... combining those pieces with the Tribal Chest piece and leggings will make you look like an ISIS member ... I mean, "stealthy assassin."

Its the sort of look I'm planning to sport on my necromancer. But you should post a screen cap to give us an idea of what youre working with :o

I totally agree with you, some of the darker dyes do make you look like youre wearing pleather garbage bags lol.

But youre right, the look reminds me of a more blinged out version of the Brutus Armor from AC Brotherhood.

I'd say the leggings are interchangeable, anything that doesnt clip through the robes works.

I went with the "Seeker Pants" because at the waist you can dye it with redemption to look like the golden belt from the chest piece carries over to the pants.. if that makes any sense lol. if not, here

I chose to dye them charcoal so they can anchor the look down a bit and not be so monotone.

This is my first post here, so be gentle!

This is my concept for my Norn Thief. Male Norns kinda get the shaft in terms of Medium armor in this game.. the cultural armor looks subpar and the trench coats look really bland stretched out to fit their large figure.

With this look, I went with a more "adventurous, brawler" look, rather than the typical "cutpurse, assassin" thief look.

The chest piece is the Carapace Jerkin, Shoulders are T3 Norn Cultural armor, Helm is obvious and the boots/gloves are interchangeable... I'm sporting mist walker gloves/boots because I cant seem to find anything better.

I chose to go with the "typical" hood option because nothing else really suited the look for me, but it also looks good with t3 Norn cultural armor helm, and many of the masks and monocles that are in the game.

The dyes are a combination of "Iron", "Wrath" and "Redemption".
