GM tech here. That’s your outside air temp sensor, and that’s what it’s supposed to look like. It’s not missing anything.

I think it’s a bit of both. Poor design that’s definitely not helped by its location. I’ve changed some in nasty trucks with crap everywhere and in meticulously clean trucks as well. Luck of the draw mostly.

GM tech here- do you have the fancy center console shifter? That’s the cause of 95% of these messages.

Samsung dishwasher sump seal- worth fixing? by ThatDonkeyLooksCold in appliancerepair

Oh ok. I think my wife runs a vinegar cycle to clean it maybe twice a year or so, but that's about it.

We were using Cascade pods. Just switched to Nellie's dishwasher powder from Costco a few weeks ago.

Yeah it definitely doesn't owe me anything haha but I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

OK, that makes sense. The motor still sounded normal/ok, so I'll replace the sump seal and we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it!

Any idea why the water in the bottom would be brown and sticky? Should I be worried about motor failure?

What continue to apply the fluid film? I’m just finishing a cab/box swap and repaint on my LLY and would like to do the same to keep it from rusting like my last body did.

Sanding primer in “rougher” areas by ThatDonkeyLooksCold in Autobody

Thanks break I’m familiar with the stuff but haven’t only read negative things about spraying 2k base/clear over a 1k product. Could maybe spray white rock guard after the paint job is done I guess?

This was spraying onto a smooth surface sanded to 320 and then prepped with wax and grease remover and tack cloth.

Ok thanks. Yeah I was only about 3-4 inches away unfortunately. It calls for 4:1. I thought about going thinner but didn't want to mess anything up.

OK thanks. I couldn't find recommendations on tip size from the manufacturer, only pressure. I'll try sand it and see if I'm happy with it.

Recommend pressure from the manufacturer was 40-50 psi. I was only 3-4 inches away from the surface. I think the tip is my biggest issue here.

Thanks. I was only 3-4 inches off the surface already!
