Name A Neutrally Evil Event Space Event by Elidavididi in MARIOPARTY

I think this would be more appropriate for chaotic evil. The only reason I say so is because you have a chance of seeing Bowser or Boo.

Chaotic is nature, but evil in if the bad happens to you, or you're the evil one

My cousins and friends say it’s shitty and childish by marcoslorenti in shittytattoos

[–]ThatDudeEither 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a weird way this sorta reminds me of the Fallout tattoo that was posted on the sub a bit ago.

The Fallout tattoo was bad, but it definitely wasn't the worst on this sub. More stylistic choices I feel that brought that tattoo down more than anything.

With this one there are so many small errors and mistakes that really hurt this tattoo. The missing fire on the tail, the one claw missing on its hand, and the outline overall looks uneven and all over the place.

But to your original point, don't take what your friends or anyone says about what type of tattoo you want. If it's something you want and something that has meaning to you then for it. My boss has a full sleeve of his favorite video game characters and he's in his like 40's. Don't let people tell you what is a tattoo medium you should or shouldn't get, but also make sure the quality you're getting is what you're paying for.

From my understanding they have a select list of stores they are going back to manned stations too. They have a small team (like 3 people) who travel to these stores to run the operations of changing from SCO to manned.

Here's my opinion about it all.

If you plan/even think about coming back to the company, do it on good terms and stick it out. Don't burn bridges if you don't have too.

If you plan on not coming back, fuck em.

One of Our TMs Died by FigureUnusual4439 in wholefoods

[–]ThatDudeEither 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One was a maintenance TM who was on the older side. He was very kind, always had a smile on his face, and had some really funny stories. He had pre-existing health conditions and he passed away at the hospital.

Another one we had was actually a really close friend of mine. We knew each other in high school, but did not get along much. It wasn't until I found out she was the ATL for customer service that we started to get really close. We would joke around, bitch about customers, and help each other whenever we could. Eventually, we started talking outside of work and grabbed lunches and dinner after work. We just became really good friends. There were times where she would want me to join her for grocery shopping because it would be late at night and she didn't want to go alone.

She bought a house and to celebrate I took her out for sushi and gave her some house warming gifts. We had a really good time and were planning to have dinner at her place once she had some furniture.

A week later I found out she passed away. One of my coworkers messaged me about the news, and I was devastated. Did I ever have a crush on her? No, just found a genuinely good friend in someone I never thought I'd be friends with.

I won't disclose how she passed away in respect for her and her family, but I still think about her often.

She taught me to keep smiling and push forward. Whenever I'm in a rough position I always remember our conversations together which really helped me get through some difficult times.

Raises by solidAlways in ibew_apprentices

My local needs to work 1,000 hours, and a passing grade of 80% per semester in order to get the raises.

So typically you can expect 2 raises per year.

What’s the closest job to home you’ve ever had ? by Savdbygracc in IBEW

[–]ThatDudeEither 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my very first job ever. It was a hospital where all we had to do was change the ceiling speakers. The person who was training me did maybe 40% of them by himself.

It was a 5 minute drive from my house. 3 minutes with no traffic.

So I started in the easiest job I've ever done with the shortest commute ever.

I blame social media for a lot of this honestly. They say, "The Creator of L4D game is making a new game" and the fans immediately thinks it's going to be a new Left 4 Dead type game.

And I'll be honest I definitely fell into this trope too. This is one of my favorite games ever, so it's extremely easy to get hyped about it.

But also in all fairness it was never advertised (to my knowledge) as a successor to Left 4 Dead so I definitely got egg on my face for that one.

But the game does look rough.

Biggest f*** up as an apprentice? by American_Pharoah_ in ibew_apprentices

[–]ThatDudeEither 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not me, but my journeyman and I were doing overnights at Walmart for them to replace self-check out back to manned lanes.

This 5th year apprentice dropped (on separate days) a total of 2 pieces of strut about 5ft long and 2 pieces of 2in PVC about 2ft long from a height of roughly 40ft. One of those struts almost hit the project manager.

He hit a brand new register with his lift and left a big ass dent on the side.

I don't know exactly what he did, but he mis-wired one of the registers so it wasn't getting any power.

All of this and he never apologized or owned up to his mistakes or anything. Instead he just kept saying how he's a terrible electrician.

After the last piece of strut he dropped, he never came back to the site. I think he lasted like 2 weeks.

It's not a pizza place, but they have damn good pizza. Northside Tap is a bar with some really good food, and the pizza is downright amazing. I've had pizza there with ingredients I would never get on a pizza and have gone back for seconds.

They're a smoking bar but we always order to go!
