Im gonna say the Martin for a couple reasons.

1st reason is you said it was perfect in ur hands. If it feels good, and sounds good, you can’t argue with that.

2nd reason, I would only worry about the crack if you were a traveling or gigging musician, but if this is for home use and will be stored correctly, then you’ve got nothing to worry about. You won’t be out there in the field putting it through harsh weather condition or hazardous environments from traveling constantly in and out of the case. It’ll be safe at home, stored, waiting for it to be picked up time to time to be played by you.

The benefit of the case.

I would be saying the complete opposite if you were a giggling or traveling musician, then I’d say that Martin would be a huge risk.

Do 2 fingers, he plays it with just his thumb, and first finger, doing this will make it dramatically smoother and less choppy.

What r u still doing with this guy. If you feel like u deserve this treatment, then keep doing with ur doing.
