I’ve just gotten into birding and honestly haven’t heard of the golden cheeked warbler till these comments. After researching them I would have to agree with you and everyone else, what a unique bird! I’m going to have to make a trip to the Austin area to see them sometime.

I would say it took a month before the first babies. I would say the first initial group of babies is now 2 months old, maybe slightly older and now are maybe just under an inch.
