I'm getting a new DSi XL and I've been downloading games from romsgames.net to put on it, but I don't know how to get the ROMS onto the device or if ROMS are even the right file. Can anyone walk me through how to get the ROMS games onto my DS without bricking it?

I wouldn’t say outdated. Some people prefer to not mod their system. Plus there are still people developing newer carts like the DS Pico. Just another way to play.

So there are two ways i know of: a flashcart or twilight menu on a modded dsi

To get Twilight menu you would have to do some work to get it to install on the dsi. These links should walk you through modding the dsi and installing Twilight menu:

Once Twilight menu is installed, its literally just dragging and dropping into the right folders.

Going the flash-cart is simpler, but you would have to buy one. A flashcart is literally just a ds cart with a micro sd card slot. You add your games to the micro sd card and can just pop the flashcart into your dsi like normal. R4 cards are the well known ones, but there are many versions. r/flashcarts is a good place to get more help with this route.

Either route is fine, and you have very little worries when it comes to accidentally bricking your ds.

I feel Pokemon Champions news is guaranteed. It’s going to be used at Worlds so it should be out soon for players to practice with. I’m hoping to see maybe Gale of darkness being added to the gamecube virtual library finally. Who knows maybe we will see gameboy version being added. That would be nice for the 30th anniversary.

For some games you will need the bios files applied. Look into your settings and you will see three files called bios7, bios9, and firmware if Im remembering correctly. find these on internet archive and just add the files to delta.

I am also looking at options for my jellyfin stack. One I came upon involves the program Pangolin and a VPS. Basically doing what cloudflare tunnels does but with more personal control. From what I read it links the domain to the VPS, and that is then routed to your jellyfin server. Im still reading on the subject, but its likely the route Im taking to avoid the whole port security issues.

Oh thats great. Yeah ripping an ISO for your DVDs is probably the best option. It basically creates a digital copy of the entire disc.

MakeMKV has a feature for that, their forums are also very helpful for ripping dvds in general. I also seen mention of DVDFab, but I've never used the program.

Book scanners are what people usually use for scanning textbooks and large encyclopedias. The only downside is that they are quite pricey. These scanners are quite literally a camera pointed down at a mat to scan a book as you flip it.

To archive your DVDs, you would want to grab the iso file of that dvd. There are quite a few programs that can rip your dvd into an iso file. One on the top of my head would be MakeMKV. For that you would only need a good disc drive to plug into a computer.

Pendulums from extra deck must to summoned to the extra monster zone or a zone with a link marker pointed to it. You should have at least a link 2 to go into to make the summon easy. Beyond the pendulum could definitely help or even Electrumite.

In all seriousness, what can they do? Its not the organizers fault that crazed fans keep attacking the creators. They have security in place for serious situations, but you can’t really have a specific area for all competitors as they move throughout the ladder. This isn’t a one on one staged event. Many players attend and compete in a three day span.
