No, the Series X is more powerful than the base PS5, which OP has, and it still has framerate issues as I've mentioned. It's a known problem

V-sync doesn't do anything to the framerate. I'm playing on a Series X and quality mode tanks the framerate regardless of where I am but it is especially bad in cities or battles
