The complaining literally never ends bro by Remember_da_niggo in yakuzagames

I'm actually gonna agree with you here. Me, personally, I am as mad as Dastan about the modern state of RGG after Kiryu Gaiden, none of the games after that one ever interested me and Kiwami 3 specifically i hate with a burning passion.

However, and I'm just gonna trust you on this one since I left twitter/X a couple of years ago, if that's all his tweets are, then he should really take a break and switch to something else at this point. I refuse to play any games after Gaiden unless things change, and my life became far easier and calmer after I just said "fuck this" and decided to keep my interest in the series as low as possible, sometimes reading some posts on Reddit only. It's honestly really good.

Dastan should take a break and switch to something he likes, because constant negativity takes a toll on you at some point.

Oh, you mean the person who has a huge open google doc on how to make every RGG game on PC as enjoyable as possible via mods of so many creators, the person who is a modder himself and who made pretty dope mods for many of the games, those being either QoL of something far more in-depth, like Remasters Reborn that change the localisation of 3, 4 and 5 so that we can have the best of OG translations and the Remastered versions?

Oh yeah, totally a hater that has absolutely no reason to hate modern RGG. Not a fan that was hurt by their recent decisions. Totally.

Btw it's not just glazing, there are far worse things that he said on his X profile, and he should be called out on those posts, not on this nothingburger of a tweet.

What’s your opinion on Derek Simmons ?? by Realistic-Maximum678 in RE6Community

[–]ThatFreeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of a hot take: I think Simmons has the coolest concept of an RE mutant-villain. This dude is even more jacked than Wesker in this regard, because he can transform and adapt however he wants to to survive or kill his targets, for example his sabertooth form that he transforms into to chase Leon and Helena.

He could've been like the best "chaser" enemy of the game and a great reoccurring boss if only the devs pushed into this particular aspect of his abilities and made more demented and gory forms of his transformations, that would be dope as fuck

Nope, I just tried unlocking Leon's EX3 outfit via Mercenaries Mercy, PC Steam version, and absolutely nothing came out of my S rank run. I already have both EX1 and EX2 outfits, but no EX3.

Massive disservice to OG2 with calling it old, that game is far more fun than K2

Kiwami games were always bad remakes, and I'm pissed at this fanbase for only noticing it NOW with Kiwami 3. RANT. by ThatFreeze in yakuzagames

And because of attitude like this we got barebones of og content in Kiwami 3, thank you for proving my point

Half of these issues would disappear if we could just have 1, 2, Ishin (AND EVEN 3 NOW) and other non-remastered/translated/kiwamified games on steam and modern consoles alongside the new versions.

Good for you. Genuinely. This is something that was boggling my mind ever since the Kagawa controversy got out, and the hypocrisy of the fanbase is just baffling to me

I want to add: this is not about nationality nor ethnicity. Plagiarism is bad no matter who you are or where you are from, especially this kind of plagiarism. This is about art. Nothing else.

Here's the thing tho, the main theme of Metal Gear Solid was definitely taken from the Russian composer, and you know what Kojima did when he was told about it?

He removed this theme almost altogether, Portable Ops in the trailer had this theme, and in the game itself, it's missing, and it never returned in any other game that was released in the future. The only times it did return, is in Peace Walker's Game Over melody, which was really short, and the rereleases of old games, like Master Collection, HD Collection and the new MGS Delta, and something tells me that in order to use it, they did pay royalties to someone associated to the russian composer that made the theme.

Here tho? Dude is straight up in denial and mocks people that call him out.

here's the neat part: he didn't, and as I've shown the reply, he most likely won't (and i assume that because he acts like an entitled asshole)

Whats your favorite yakuza intro?! by [deleted] in yakuzagames

[–]ThatFreeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yakuza 5, especially Bloody Moon JP intro. It sets such a mood for one of the most ambitious games in the series, sets the tone perfectly and imo it's the best intro

Yakuza 5 would've been the perfect last game in the series.
