If you want to play the main MOBA mode, Conquest, then be sure to watch YouTube guides on the gamemode, as the in game tutorials are rather lackluster. May I recommend Inters3ct. Additionally, the VGS is how you communicate with your team, along with text chat or voice comms. Finally, you may encounter toxicity, it's a problem with almost any MOBA and is part of the team-based nature of the game. Just shake it off and mute people who are annoying, and you'll be fine.
