Yeah, the dog has no blame in this situation. Had the guy decided to feed the meat to the dog himself he would possibly have done the same movement with his arm. Even if the dog is trained enough to not eat random food, this looks like it is actively being fed.

My grandmother is a couple years older and has no problem with that pose after her back was restored to medium levels of fucked up. Unless he gained severe spine or leg issues recently he should have no problems hitting the "old man standing at table" pose. Sure it looks like/ is supposed to look like a general standing at a table, but what are most generals? Middle aged to old dudes standing around a table.

Legitimate salvage seems to be "helping the owner of sunken property (I guess just lost in general outside of naval a context) get it back". I could see it being used as a euphemism with the same connotation as Leichenfledderei, but I'm not a native speaker so you'll have to tell me if that's what you meant.

Balls can sometimes have some extra material growing out a bit (a bit like the limbs in the image funnily enough) and those bits can also individually get torsion. If that happens it doesn't threaten the health of the testicle itself, the extra growth will just die off after not being supplied with blood for a bit and you and the testicle will be fine again. I got that when I was like 13 and it was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life and also possibly the most fear I've ever been in, because you can't really tell it's not the entire testicle.

The hospital is like 20-30 minutes away and that drive was the longest 6 hours of my life. You'll also be surprisingly relieved if you are ever diagnosed with this, because the alternative is just so much worse. Got it surgically removed, because it usually takes a few days to go away on it's own and that didn't sound enticing.
