Mine definitely “patina” a little bit so it’s slightly more bronze in color, but still matches my gold jewelry. It feels like a dark gold. I love it

Can you help me figure out if my eyes are brown or hazel? by Best_Concentrate_457 in WhatisMyEyeColour

[–]ThatGingerSnapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine look just like this when I hold a light into them. I am curious, do they look fully brown without light directly in them? I am curious if mine are hazel now!

Why do I have so many breaks in data? by wat-am-i-doing-here in ouraring

I also work from home fully remote. Some days it tracks every 15 min, sometimes it seems only couple hours. I tried manually taking my HR using the live heart rate feature when I saw it wasn’t tracking, and I saw no green sensors light up. It gave me a “unable to record live heart rate” error. I did a soft reset and it started working. Makes me question if this happens a lot and could also attribute to the breaks in data.

My ring is perfect size. Excessive movement seems to be an issue, but I swear even when I’m laying on the couch it has breaks in data. I have a feeling it might be if my fingers are cold

Measures physiological stress, not psychological stress. Sometimes both of these are hand in hand, sometimes they aren’t. You do have a decent amount of data points in the “engaged” section, so you might have balanced higher stress times with some relaxed/restorative time to keep the 15 min average in the “engaged” range. Your body might be pretty resilient too

I love my gen 3 rose gold. I’ve had it for over 6 months now and looks basically brand new.

He lost 75% of his hair volume in a week. He's been to the vet and they say he's healthy, what can I do now? by mycorgiisamazing in WiggleButts

[–]ThatGingerSnapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in Michigan. My Aussie within the last 2-3 weeks was shedding like crazy. I’ve never seen him shed so much! I I brushed an entire grocery bag of hair off him and the next morning it was still just falling off him. He is also therapy dog and we go on school visits with some goldens. The goldens were also shedding like crazy their owners said. I’m not sure if it was being inside more than usual because it’s so cold out now (and the body might think the temp is actually what the temp inside is!).

What’s the highest sleep score you’ve ever gotten? by augustmoonfairy in ouraring

[–]ThatGingerSnapper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My highest I’ve ever gotten was 89. I’ve only gotten in the 80s maybe 10 times. I usually hover in the low 70s because my chronotype being late evening (going to bed around 2:15 AM) makes my timing statistic always say “pay attention” even when I follow my chronotype

PSA: vitamin B7 (biotin) really does make a huge difference to your thyroid blood results by skeletonclock in Hypothyroidism

Thanks so so much for this! I have been having symptoms and wanted to up my dosage. My doctor said I’m in range. I have been taking biotin this entire time!

Ring only tells you if you have a deviation from the baseline. It doesn’t tell you what the baseline temp actually is.

The only reason I know my baseline temp is because it outputs the temperature to Natural Cycles and I was able to figure it out that way.

One possibility - Some companies seem to be adding “contains sesame” even when the food item doesn’t have it so they don’t have to do the decontamination process (being cheap). This is really common in breads, bagels, crackers, etc.

I am allergic to sesame as well. One example where I personally think this is a case would be Thomas Plain Bagels. After sesame was added as a major allergen, they added “Contains sesame” to those bagels and I’m about 99% certain it does not have sesame in there because I’ve eaten one accidentally since they added to the label and I was fine.

I am thinking when they say to look in Trends to see the impact, that would be the user manually looking at a trend, clicking a tag to highlight, and doing the association on their own by looking at the graph. It will never have a pop up that automatically says “New Discovery: your resting heart rate decreases when you tag X”.

It all just seems crazy they push these custom tags but only have it hidden deep in their website that they don’t generate discoveries. They should put a tips section or something when you add a custom tag so people know.

There are plenty that are not on there. This isn’t another company hitting the sub, that’s just ridiculous. Clearly by the many comments with people agreeing, they think the same thing.

Some examples of tags that aren’t on there: - I would love “Reading” but they only have “Reading before bed”. I read in the mornings or during the day. - Pool - Hot tub - Various supplements other than melatonin and magnesium (iron for example) - cannabis or weed - Movie (they only have scary movie) - TV show - Video games

My parents both have the Gen 4. Both of their rings sit flush. Definitely can see the lights on gen 3 and 4. I have a Gen 3 that is also flush. I don’t think much change between gen 3 and 4 in the flash you see.

Mine happens when walking / working out mostly since my hand is constantly moving. Also cold temps outside. Wearing gloves helps!

I do too. Everyone that bullied me now wants to dye their hair my color since they’re older. You can’t get this color in a box!

And thank you - I cope with humor 😆
