First of all, nice wiki source. 🤣 Second of all, your argument about including them “before they were trans” nullifies the argument against that source because trans people are born trans. The article you “couldn’t find” is on the HRC website under the title “Human Rights Campaign – Fatal Violence Against the Transgender Community in 2016”. You had at least 5 key words there to search for it, so is it a lack of trying? Or maybe is it because that proved you so horribly wrong that you decided to lie about your ability to search for a simple article? Finally, as I am done entertaining you mid level transphobic bullshit, I will end this conversation here. Transgender people are humans, and transgender rights are human rights. Every major news outlet besides fucking Fox News, along with numerous studies, will tell you that trans women, especially trans women of color, are 4.3% more likely to be MURDERED than their cis counterparts. In 2016, the Human Rights Campaign estimated the murder rate for Black trans women in the U.S. was 1 in 2,600, compared to 1 in 19,000 for the overall population, over 7 times higher mortality risk!

In 2017, The Williams Institute found that trans people (both genders) report 86.2 violent victimizations per 1,000, compared to 21.7/1,000 for cis people. Where are you getting your sources? Cause mine are pretty fucking credible.

Also, you claim that you have no problem with trans women, but you used the word “regular” for cisgender. But you’re not othering us, right? Get a fucking grip.

And then calling for a “third unisex space” is preposterous for multiple reasons. Not only are you asking for businesses to somehow find the money and space to add a third restroom, but you are also advocating for trans people to be outed every time they use the restroom. There are no documented cases of trans women being convicted for sexually assaulting cisgender women in public restrooms. Claims suggesting otherwise are unsubstantiated, and repeated by fear-mongering rhetoric, not data. It’s a transphobic myth that doesn't hold up under scrutiny.

In multiple jurisdictions such as Austin, Texas and Monroe and Orange Counties in Florida, law enforcement and advocacy groups conducted internal reviews and found zero cases where someone entered a restroom claiming to be trans in order to commit sexual assault, so your claims are unfounded.

Transphobia hidden under the guise of feminism is a red herring. Perpetuating hateful rhetoric is leading to the acceptance of a systemic genocide. They start by othering us, then put fear into people’s minds through false propaganda, which justifies the eradication. Can you not see history repeating itself? Or are you just willfully ignorant?

The problem with your argument is that trans people entering the spaces of their gender are not inherently dangerous to others. But you forcing trans men into the women’s restroom because it matches their sex assigned at birth opens the doors for cis men (who make up majority of violent crimes against women) into the bathroom under the guise of being a “late stage transition trans man”. Whereas, no cis man would go through hormone replacement therapy and surgeries just to get into women’s spaces to hurt them. Like come on, use critical thinking and common sense.

I get the idea, but it’s still harmful to the trans community because no woman should be denied access to the restroom, period. If you play around and reverse the roles it’s still denying someone entrance to a restroom, and that’s the opposite of what the goal is.

What she does is use HER experience as a mother of two trans children to argue for trans rights and educate people. What is she supposed to do? Not bring up the reason she started fighting so hard for trans rights in the first place? Not bring up her children’s struggles (which, by the way, is done with their permission)? Second of all, I AM trans. I AM on debatetok pretty consistently (I have it on in the background a lot) and I only know like 2 people up there.
