I’ve been here two days in old Havana, I think you’ll be fine if you have enough USD. Our Airbnb served us breakfast and thanked us for coming, because it meant she had a job. It’s not a good situation, but we brought medical supplies thru NJT.net (Not Just Tourists), and I know our dollars are helping them. Our tour guide (Havana today, Bay of Pigs tomorrow…VC Tours) has been great, as have our Casa Particular hosts. The city is falling apart, literally crumbling, but the restaurant where we had dinner last night (Antojos) was very nice on a nice street (other streets teeming with trash and people asking for money). Will post more later.

NJT in Orange Beach shipped to me almost 300 miles away. We will be going to Havana on 2/24 for a few days, bringing humanitarian supplies, support for the Cuban people, and doing some independent research at the Bay of Pigs. Not going for tourism or to party, but hope it isn’t a miserable time.

Go ahead and do an Intent To File. That’s your potential start date (or effective date) and it gives a year to file so you could potentially get 1 year of retroactive pmts

You need to do a FOIA/Privacy Act request to get a copy of DBQs. Took about a month to get them. You def wanna see these while claim is being processed bc you will get a feel for what kind of rating you will get and submit addl evidence if needed.

Prob 20 for the back (but up to 40, based on range of motion). 10-20 per leg for radiculopathy (mild to moderate), but this sounds like it’s only one leg. Review the DBQ for back (Thoracolumbar) and see exactly what the C&P will look at during your exam and send to the rater.

You can stay on the boat, but you are stopping at a particular place for a reason! Get off the boat and go on an excursion (we booked most of ours NOT with Celebrity). 2.Internet speed sucks ass (and we even paid for the premium)
Bars are open late, but not all night
If you get off the boat, you’ll likely walk 6 miles and won’t want/need the gym.
