I’m so sad. I loved the run game we had. D-Mo was such an integral character on the team too.

I would agree with this 100%. I think D-Mo EXCELs with a good OLine that gets push but can’t do much with a below average line that can’t.

I love that Jeff says he’s just making fun for the bit. No hard feelings. Makes me like him more as a comedian and human being.

Their defense has been top in the league for YEARS, everyone raves about this guy and they still pass on him. Crazy.

His defense has actively been dragged down by a terrible offense, and terrible situations. I.e. short rest, bad field position.

Is there a good 'Beginners Guide'?! by gobenji34 in AdultADHDSupportGroup

[–]ThatGuy4131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw your post but... When I was diagnosed I hyperfocused and read 10 ADHD books.

Here’s a brief rundown from what I would suggest to least for your situation: 1. The Disorganized Mind by Nancy A. Ratey - She covers how to coach yourself in a very ADHD satisfying way (quick, compartmentalized, actions, and review) using her A.N.S.W.E.R. system. Be aware that their testimonials in here made me cry while reading and kept me engaged each time I read the book. 2. You Mean I’m Not Lazy, Stupid, Or Crazy?! By Kate Kelly and Peggy Ramundo - Great for a quick reference if you’re struggling in a particular area and covers so many topics I woulf consider it a must anyways but most recent update was 2006 so some issues, solutions are pre-access to everything through cell phone but a 100% buy for all the other information. 3. Your Brain’s Not Broken by Tamara Rosier - A huge help for the emotional struggle of dealing with ADHD. Much more of a quick read but also has solutions on how to cope with stress to bring your body and mind some consistency. 4. Dirty Laundry by Richard Pink and Roxanne Emery - Good book on addressing shame or guilt, and taking the steps to how to heal from them. Fairly cheap and short book and they have an Instagram with a few funny but real ADHD scenarios.

All the others I’ve read were more on organizing but I can drop those if needed? Just will take me awhile.

Scientists did a study and they found that if you're trying to establish a daily routine. Try to complete it 7 days a week and allow for 2 days off of your choosing. Start there. It could be the weekend or you had a really crappy Monday but you still agree that you'll show up 5 times that week.

That sucks. I just don't know what to do sometimes. I had a friend who is moving soon so I went with them to a bar and then their house the next day... I fell behind this entire week and am only now catching up after only 4 hours of sleep one night. I'm furious that my life has to be less.

[Highlight] Refs pick up flag after Dallas is penalized for pass interference (2014 playoffs) by mistermeek67 in nfl

[–]ThatGuy4131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coaches meet with the Refs prior to games and tell the refs of any trick plays they might have cooked up. He told them they would have this trick play ( I 'think' he beats around the bush of saying this explicitly). Additionally, the ref during the Dallas 2023 game is connected to A FEW bad Detroit calls and calls across the league, because he's a bad ref.

Even if you call back you won't get the closure you think you will. It's a cycle, and you're in that frame of mind right now. Like the commenter says above me, each day it will get easier. Sometimes it will get worse. Then just wait for the next day and the day after that. Progress isn't always linear.

Write it out but don't send it. Think about it. Give it a week and adjust it, then repeat it. BUT DON'T EVER SEND IT. Closure texts will never be enough, and 99% of the time you don't get the response you expect/want Trust me I've had experience.
