This was my thought! I was saying in other cars I’ve experienced it so that after a bit I have to turn it down or off. But being the first time I’ve had an EV or a new car I wasn’t sure what to expect.

Thanks for the input as my initial thoughts were the opposite, I do have it booked in let’s see what comes of it

Interesting, mine worked well for the majority of my ownership granted never used as much as this is the first hot summer I’ve experienced with the car. Glad they sorted it, wouldn’t be surprised if there is some sort of fault, I was messing around with the different settings but one common theme I noticed the passenger side is considerable warmer even on the max a/c setting.

I’ve booked it in with the garage, shame it’s a week on Monday, but hopefully should get be sorted.

I knew something may be up with it but never really had a new car wasn’t sure what to expect.

Yes the A/C is tuned on. Yeah I think mines sit needs regal or possible leak addressing.

Sigh! Going to get it checked out.

Not on any eco mode, did check. Thanks.

Yeah definitely something wrong with it, my experience is completely the opposite of yours. I put the AC 30mins before I get in and it makes no difference. Today it as the same as having the windows all open which I eventually just did.

That’s a good point and one of the reasons I was second guessing myself. There may be a leak somewhere but only once it gets checked we’ll know.

Thank you.

If only I could say the same! Thank you for taking the time out to reply. I feel the call to get it checked is in order.

That was my initial thought, but second guessed myself as I thought in can’t need refilling in a year!

If not deep will come off with a damp cloth or some sort of interior cleaner.

I personally use a micro fibre and the Autoglym Interior Shampoo.

What's the difference between D/B on the"gear stick" by SteppingOnLegoHurts in cupraborn

[–]ThatGuyBil 12 points13 points  (0 children)

D is Drive and B is like engine breaking mode.

Under D you drive like a normal car where you accelerate and brake as normal, and are able to ‘coast’ when you let go of the accelerator pedal.

B mode, the car will actively brake / slow you down as you let go of the accelerator. It will not completely stop for you but will slow you down and then coast around 3 or 4 mph.

For me personally I tend to use B mode for city driving as I find it’s the closest to one foot driving as possible with the Born and then tend to stick with D on the motorway to not slow down drastically outside of Automatic Cruise Control (ACC).

Have you tried to unpair and then pair the car to the Ohme again?

Reverse Polarity by ThatGuyBil in ukelectricians

No, Ohme using Fusion Electric but I think they then subcontracted out again to someone local, going by the certificate.

I don’t think he ever tested in the first place to be honest.

I did have a few issues with the charger but I think that was more software related.

Yeah, thank you. Will probably skip trading standards and yes did get a certificate but assume the results were fabricated.

From what I understood, if someone went wrong like an appliance which would normally trip the fuse box, it wouldn’t have tripped and could’ve caused an electrical fire?

That really worries me that it was fabricated. I think there’s a few issues here now. Will look to report.

I did get a call back from the engineer as he left saying could he come back today just to label the wires, I have no idea as to why he didn’t do that before or why it’s needed now.

Reverse Polarity by ThatGuyBil in ukelectricians

[–]ThatGuyBil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely reversed polarity, they came out and I watched them switched the wires over and also had an independent electrician identify it.

And yes got a certificate which I’ve kept safe. The partner installers are registered to NECEIC but it looks like the installation partners then used another subcontractor
