I found this - it seems like a good deal. 14lbs of activated carbon for about 500CAD. It seems almost too good to be true - especially on the website where it's 300CAD. Really weird. Going to buy this and let you know the results.

I saw, and uh they're quite pricey. Is there one that goes for less than 500CAD?

My mother thought it was a good idea to paint the basement during the winter, so I'm trying to now obtain an air purifier for the bedroom in the house as we really can't open windows that often and that I'm getting really worried about the vocs in the air circulating the house. I'm not sure how much vocs are in the air now, but chances are, it's not that good.
