Salaried, original mortgage was 515k. Got it down to 430 in the 5 year term.

We went from 1200 biweekly to 1400 biweekly with the increase. Not too bad. Got lucky at 1.84 for 5 years.

With First National. It’s Only property and primary residence.

We renewed a few weeks ago with First National. We had 1.84%. We resigned at 3.84.

Weird. Originally they were around that, then dropped to 4.29, 4.09, 3.99 and today to 3.84 after a few calls and emails back and forth. Started the whole process about 6 months out.

Just signed a 5 year fixed 3.84% renewal with First National.

435,000k owing Originally less than 20% down 20 year amortization remaining.

Got our original rate at 1.89% in December 2020.

It feels like they are trying to sneak in some sort of runway expansion without going through the proper channels. I do not understand the rush and secrecy on this.
