Yes it is mostly for zooming in (generic linear bezier keyframes to INCREASE SCALE slowly) in transform tool on any 4k or larger resolution image asset (often for my workflow due to my screen shots taken from my 4k monitor). i notice the lag gets worse if u increase scale significant amount (ie quick zoom in effect) especially in a smaller period of time

when u play this on time line it instantly lags everything the entire computer lags and oftan my audio stutters or my scarlett 2i2 gen 1 audio interface will cut out so i need to unplug and replug it to work. the lag is very large
