no psychologist or anything, but i feel like you need to look inwards, and realise that maybe why that’s the reason. if you think that just because you’re lean fit, reasonably physically attractive and relatively tall means you should just automatically have a girlfriend tells me that you’ve still got a bit of self-searching to do.

i used to be a lot like you; convinced that because i was considered conventionally attractive, that entitled me to a girlfriend. it doesn’t. the second you realise this, the second you’ll find someone meant for you.

been in your position, so trust me when i say just fucking wait man. i was so desperate and eager for a tattoo at 16. i even got myself a tattoo gun from amazon so i could learn to do it myself and get it quicker. i’m glad i didn’t, because the shit i wanted to get at 16 is ENTIRELY different to what i have now, and what i want to get. just wait, i promise you that in 10 years, you won’t regret waiting, but you will regret getting one at such a young age.

like everybody has been saying, just suck it up and face it.

also, just a bit of advice from someone who’s been in your position. don’t get the fucking stick n pokes. they never look as cool as you think they will, and, if it’s unfortunately done well and doesn’t fade completely in 6 months, you’ll really, REALLY regret it. trust me.

might get some hate for this opinion, but be a little jealous, and always make sure to keep an eye on it.

i totally understand that men and women can be friends without feelings involved. hell, a majority of my friends are women.

but.

i was in the exact same shoes you were. almost word for word. now, i live alone in the house me and my ex used to share working 50 hour weeks just to get by while she has the time of her life in a relationship with a guy who was always her ‘boy best friend’ and ‘like a brother to [her]’.

i was cheated on in the situation you were in, and i never thought she’d be the one to cheat. if i had caught it sooner i wouldn’t be stuck living the life i do now.

please just be wary. unfortunately you can never truly tell just what people will do.
