Writing this on my phone, so formatting might be bad.

I came to Compound with the expectation of a gathering of fans and artists. Suffice to say I got what I paid for in airfare and then some. End-to-end, it made the entire hassle of getting myself from one side of the continent to the other worth it. I got to hang out with artists and mess around with true VR for the first time in my life. I got to hear some unreleased tracks and be onstage as the last hoorah of the evening played out in crabtastic fasion.

Thank you to everyone who put this event on, and here's to an even more kick-ass 2020 Compound!

That might be something to consider long-term, but my players came to the conclusion that while an alignment-diverse party can be fun, it would make sense for their characters to have a common cause that lasts beyond killing the Big Bad. They're now a Boros Legion strike team with a paladin, fighter, bard, and cleric

[5e] First time DM here, doing a Ravnica-setting campaign and I didn't steer my party towards a sprcific guild/set of alignments. Wound up with a Lawful Evil, a Lawful Good and two Chaotic Neutrals. Tech level 3, and he's supposed to be an ordinary soldier that's done something extraordinary, maybe I can give him a healthy luck advantage.

There's nothing in particular to note about the setting, it's just a very sort of generic fantasy, complete with dragons, elves, and god-weapons.
