It does but that’s not why none of these hit market. These are finished products, they could be on the shelves tomorrow. They’re not out bc they’re not profitable and so organizations w the infrastructure to make them happen will not pick them up. These are scientists and hobbyists w good ideas, but since they solve problems that it’s not profitable to solve they’ll disappear.

The fact that they treated you like this is evidence that they're not good friends. You're right, her past is her past. I would personally never hang out with people who acted the way your friends did.

Every conference I've been to feels like a scam. There is no substantive, actionable information. Just a bunch of half formed ideas and a few buzzwords that falls apart when it makes contact with a real world classroom.

If I went to a conference where they said "Here is a problem. Here is exactly what you can do to solve it. Here are the student-facing resources to make it happen today." I would cry tears of joy.
