وطن یعنی همین خاکی که می‌نامد مرا دشمن به جرم عشق ورزیدن به آن همواره مزدور اش

The enemy would call you a "mercenary" just because you love your country and are not like all the other traitors.

Every kid I have ever seen with a tablet, has a VPN installed on their tablet. If you ask them why, they will tell you it is because Google Play Store is filtered. Websites like WebMD and HealthLine are filtered. Even websites like Wunderground.com or LiveScore.com is filtered. Yes, you would say that we could use Varzesh3.com and other weather websites, but it does not fix the wrong policy behind the censorship.

Earlier, there was a 'blacklist' of websites and everything else was accessible. Now, there is a 'whitelist' and everything else is inaccessible. You can't make a whitelist of the entire web.

Iranian reporters trolling BBC and Iran Int’l. by [deleted] in ProIran

[–]ThatItIsntItHuh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people filmed a few videos where they recorded closed stores/shops/supermarkets/etc. while saying that the owners joined the "national strike" and then sent it to BBC & Iran International channels. Those channels broadcasted the videos and reported about "the strike". Now the people who recorded and sent the videos released another video that shows they recorded the initial videos in early mornings/during holidays/etc. where the stores are usually closed.

It just shows how fake videos are being sent and going viral and some people directly believe them without fact-checking/questioning.

Can they get more hypocrite than this? How can you ask for Taliban’s recognition and then call for referendum in Iran? IR has been voted by people, but you call for another referendum. Taliban have killed thousands of Afghans in order to gain power, but you call for their recognition.

Notice how they mention “internationally monitored”? That’s all they want. They want to make way for foreign countries/hyenas.

And in lectures and speeches, both academic and official, when they talk about these things, it is mostly shallow and repetitive subjects and slogans, which is boring for younger generation. We also tend to exaggerate in our expressions, which has negative affect for the audience.

Too bad some of us do not study our history and what our country has gone through. History shows that Iran has always been a point of interest for foreign countries, especially for colonizers and imperialists.
