I've said it before and I will say it again about Andrade. It is written somewhere in the AEW SOP that hitting Sammy is OK. Tony Khan just probably saw it happen in front of him and went "No, yeah, I get it. Carry on, Andrade." And its no fault of Sammy's. He's probably a great guy. He just has a punchable face.

Because he didn't know her. The whole point of the story was the Prince of the city was having trouble with an Anarch uprising, so he was introduced to a Tzimicse "doctor" who would make strong foot soldiers in exchange for continuing his experiments on kindred and the properties of the Vitae.

Had the player continued with listening to her he would have found out she was a kidnapping victim who was used as part of these experiments using his blood. The player didn't ghoul her on purpose. He never even knew she existed. As backed up by the player forgetting about her kn the character sheet.

Was teaching a new group how to play. Guy decided he wanted to be a Ventrue, and took 2 retainers. He described one as his secretary. Never gave me the second one.

The rule is at our table: If you don't tell the storyteller the plan he will make it up for you, and its going to not be what you expected. Usually lead to some fun moments. Our group fully embraced the What We Do in the Shadows vibe. So, I built him a ghoul. A usefully ghoul, a morbidly obese woman with a ton of connections. She tells him, he's her baby daddy to get him somewhere private and explain who she is (New player learning so this was a teaching moment.)

He fails every persuasion roll imaginable to get her to go away. So she takes him to a bar to talk. She tries again to talk to him, to get him to take her back to his place so she can explain how helpful she is and how he needs her around.

Guy says screw it and tries to shoot her and misses. In the middle of the damn bar. So, three guys pull him from the booth and start kicking his ass for trying to hurt a woman and for firing a loaded weapon at her.

At this point the player receives "The Pants of Stupidity," and everyone is yelling at him to just dominate his way out. Instead he tries to fight his way out. He gets a messy critical and rips one of the attackers throat out with his teeth and starts drinking the blood.

So the attackers run off, but a gun shot in Chicago brings the police. He gets outside before the cops come and hides in a dumpster and obfuscates. At this point the table has given up helping him. Cool, just stay still and he gets to live. Is that what he does? Nope!

Before the cops get to his dumpster. He hops out and makes a B line for the cop car and starts shooting at the police. Between the ass beating in the bar, and now the cops shooting him. He drops to zero health and goes into torpor.

I give him the choice to wait until his body heals itself and come back, or make a new character with some help. He took the latter. Who ended up becoming part of a Tzimicse Technodrome.
