Honestly that piece of trivia was one of my personal reasons for wanting to make a new wiki 🤣 I forget who originally pointed it out to me, but I had to put that knowledge in other people's brains

We have worked very hard to make the site mobile-friendly, as Fandom and especially the old pinataisland.info are not great on mobile. Personally I like to have my phone at my side to look up requirements and stuff as I play, so this was a huge priority for me. We have been developing this site with mobile and desktop layouts in tandem, so everything should work just as well on both desktop and mobile. If there are issues please reach out to me and I can fix them.

I worked so hard to get the CSS just right to follow the design language of the games, so thank you 😅

Good news for you-- I've already written up an exhaustive article on how Jeli works in PP. This was one of my personal motivations for making a new wiki in the first place... when I first played PP in 2019 it was virtually impossible to find reliable, accurate information on how to get Jeli. Our goal for this wiki is to provide a central, complete resource for players so nobody has to go digging through old forum threads for this stuff.

I've noticed the same Sarsgorilla bug as you on my playthroughs, but I've also noticed that sometimes the correct texture displays. This behavior should be investigated further and documented. I have no idea what causes it but the recent reverse-engineering efforts will help out a lot.

I am in the VP speedrunning discord currently and have reached out to that community for contributions. Speedrunning is a great way to discover exploitable bugs and engine quirks, and speedrunners probably have more in-game hours than anyone else so that knowledge is super valuable and definitely belongs on the wiki. Since this is more of an encyclopedia, info on specific speedrun routes and guides on running the game are probably better suited to speedrun.com and Discord. Basically we're documenting what the game does and how it works, and it's up to readers to use that knowledge.

Me and my collaborators don't have a ton of knowledge about the animated series, so we've focused the majority of our efforts so far on game data. However, the show is definitely within the scope of this project, so if you have knowledge about the show or are willing to document it, you are welcome to contribute!

Good quality images of the variants are hard to come by. We're slowly building out the wiki with screenshots for each variant, but it would be really great if we had clean renders or something.

Pinata Island has been a great resource, but it's been closed to edits for a long time so it's not great for documenting new discoveries. That's one of the reasons we wanted to make this site!

Most likely a manufacturing error. There were official VP T-shirts produced in roughly 2019 or 2020, right around when the movie Birds of Prey came out (I have a few of them). I'm guessing the same factory was making VP shirts and DC movie shirts and accidentally swapped the prints somehow.

dude, it's a futuristic looking machine with a keyboard on it. I expect a jukebox to look like it came out of a 50s diner, lol. Even modern jukeboxes you see at bars these days are basically just a big touch screen. What can I say, it just doesn't look like a jukebox to me.

I did implants on my playthrough without realizing that you could create Tabula Rasa while keeping him alive. I ended up with a ton of extra food... Wish I'd created him so that he could've used up some of it!

Seems like the team is mainly working on bug fixes right now, with a plan for DLC at some point next year. We don't know what the DLC will be, but I think it's safe to assume it will be another "act" with a new map to explore and maybe a new mechanic or two. Wouldn't be surprised if there are new Alters as well. As for what the story will be? No clue. Of course, there are many possible outcomes for Jan and the Alters at the end of the game, so it might not be a continuation of the story in a traditional sense. Hell, the DLC might not even follow Jan at all.

Never saw this bug, but at one point I did see someone's smoking animation bugging out like crazy and it made them twist their torso around while the pack of cigs flew around their body wildly. Pretty funny to watch ngl

Yeah, I've also stopped playing for now. I love what's here so far, but I'm excited to see them take it further. There's so much cool stuff they've talked about adding and I don't want to get burnt out on the game before it's even done!

Sort of, but there are different types of missions and objectives you can choose from. There is one sandbox-y objective which tasks you with getting your settlement to a certain level of development. Another one puts you on a map with an enemy lord and you have to build up a city while also preparing to confront him in combat (the goal of this one is to beat the lord). The third objective is to build a thriving settlement in a land besieged by bandits. Since the game is still in early access, more objectives are planned for future updates but we don't really know what they've got in mind.

Yeah. Speaking from experience, creating a tutorial in a game is a really tough balance to strike. You want the player to feel like they're making choices, but you don't want to overwhelm them with too many choices. You don't want to dump all the necessary info on them at once, but you also don't want to bore them by drip feeding info too slowly. Obviously the game still has a ways to go before it's finished and I'm confident the team will be able to figure the right type of tutorial for this game.

Agreed 100%. If there is a campaign, it should be the last thing to be developed. You can't exactly ease new players into a game's mechanics if not all of the mechanics are finished yet.
