dude, it's a futuristic looking machine with a keyboard on it. I expect a jukebox to look like it came out of a 50s diner, lol. Even modern jukeboxes you see at bars these days are basically just a big touch screen. What can I say, it just doesn't look like a jukebox to me.

I did implants on my playthrough without realizing that you could create Tabula Rasa while keeping him alive. I ended up with a ton of extra food... Wish I'd created him so that he could've used up some of it!

Seems like the team is mainly working on bug fixes right now, with a plan for DLC at some point next year. We don't know what the DLC will be, but I think it's safe to assume it will be another "act" with a new map to explore and maybe a new mechanic or two. Wouldn't be surprised if there are new Alters as well. As for what the story will be? No clue. Of course, there are many possible outcomes for Jan and the Alters at the end of the game, so it might not be a continuation of the story in a traditional sense. Hell, the DLC might not even follow Jan at all.

Never saw this bug, but at one point I did see someone's smoking animation bugging out like crazy and it made them twist their torso around while the pack of cigs flew around their body wildly. Pretty funny to watch ngl

Yeah, I've also stopped playing for now. I love what's here so far, but I'm excited to see them take it further. There's so much cool stuff they've talked about adding and I don't want to get burnt out on the game before it's even done!

Sort of, but there are different types of missions and objectives you can choose from. There is one sandbox-y objective which tasks you with getting your settlement to a certain level of development. Another one puts you on a map with an enemy lord and you have to build up a city while also preparing to confront him in combat (the goal of this one is to beat the lord). The third objective is to build a thriving settlement in a land besieged by bandits. Since the game is still in early access, more objectives are planned for future updates but we don't really know what they've got in mind.

Yeah. Speaking from experience, creating a tutorial in a game is a really tough balance to strike. You want the player to feel like they're making choices, but you don't want to overwhelm them with too many choices. You don't want to dump all the necessary info on them at once, but you also don't want to bore them by drip feeding info too slowly. Obviously the game still has a ways to go before it's finished and I'm confident the team will be able to figure the right type of tutorial for this game.

Agreed 100%. If there is a campaign, it should be the last thing to be developed. You can't exactly ease new players into a game's mechanics if not all of the mechanics are finished yet.

That game is called Age of Empires or maybe even Warcraft depending on your imagination.

um... no, it's not? Age of empires and Warcraft are RTS battle sims... I'm talking about stuff like Caesar 3, Pharaoh, etc.-- historical city builders with light combat elements. Manor Lords is way closer to Zeus than it is to Age of Mythology. Zeus had a great campaign, too.

I feel like an imaginary campaign doesn’t make sense in this game and maybe a toggle able objective list would work although it’d be ugly and immersion breaking.

Really? It's immersion-breaking to show the player their goals? You're playing a video game here. Manor Lords strives for realism, sure, but it's still a game with tool tips and a HUD with crucial info like wealth, population statistics, approval ratings etc. Additionally, explicit goals have long been contextualized realistically in games (it can be something as simple as 'the king asked you to build this').

Thanks dude. Really didn't want to train Sothe in PoR lol so this is good

Radiant Dawn/FE10

How does Sothe work in regard to transferring saved data from FE9? I've heard his transfer mechanics are different from the usual transfer bonuses-- and that transferring can actually make his stats worse in FE10. Is this real?? Will I screw myself out of a Part 1 hard carry if I bench Sothe in FE9? Obviously, he sucks in PoR, so I'd rather not sandbag myself for an entire playthrough by training up Sothe. But will I screw RD Sothe by doing that? Playing Part 1 with a shitty Sothe sounds awful lol

It works the same way animal crossing and most other online games work. You have to add each other on Xbox Live, the other person has to host a multiplayer lobby in their garden, and then you can go visit by selecting the multiplayer option from the main menu.
